@motofevermedia1 I wanna say deegan because I'm a fan of his but I feel like Kitchen or Vialle might be Giving him a run on the first round..450 however is gona be a bit of a toss up. With both Lawrence brothers challenging & chase coming fresh off that outdoors title. It's anyone's guess. Can't wait to watch 😁
For the first round I dig the local homie Levi for the 250's, but know it'll probably be a Deegan show! Which he will certainly earn if he does indeed take it. This race seems like he will do very well anyways! If Chase can keep this choo-choo chug of glory goin, he has a great chance at smokin Jett, who this track really seems to favor... But he's been "off the bike" for a minute, and it could play a role. Whatever goes down, I'm juss gawdamn glad we get 31 rounds over like 9 months throughout the year. I guess a couple, 3 months is enough for them to heal up and what not... Lol! Dudes are literal animals. Fur eels!
I thoroughly enjoyed the series last year. Loved the hybrid SX tracks with an outdoor flavor and thought the points system kept it interesting. Am bummed to lose Joliet though. More Midwest races please.
@teamflanneloutdoors5631 it's cool that we finally have a final back in Vegas though. I live near LA so going to the coliseum was cool but it's been weird not having the vegas races
Get rid of the seeding points to start with, and make a B main in each class and fill the LCQ gate. 2 guys can move from B to A main but bring the top 42 riders. They talk about wanting to show off the privateers, that right there would do it and would actually be some good close racing!
No rear break on right start and going against race track direction all the way to merger, but way better sweeper at merger going into back section. Left start good on braking... always with the flow of the race track... Looks like left start will gain time then lose it braking for 90 turn at merger unless they come in hot ready for bar to bar... Hopefully no carnage at merger... Track looks a bit one lined and tough to pass... Hopefully it races well with decent passing options... On paper it seems a better design for start and passing options could have been designed. Whoever holeshots and can sprint first few could check out from how it looks. I do want Chase & Danger to pull it off... but I'd be happy to see great racing and anyone win. Pay really drops off fast outside top 3... It's great for top 3.
@lonh8554 interesting idea but I feel like it could be awkward. I am a little concerned about them merging going that fast into a turn. Usually they merge on a straight.
Im rooting for deegs, but levi and rj both could be contenders. For the 450s i would say jett and chase both have a solid shot. I would say chase since he has the momentum and jett has been out for a while. But i have a hard time picturing jett loosing. Especially with the multiplying points.
Yeah, with SMX scoring, all you have to do is place decent in the first two rounds (say top 10) and then win the last round. Chance is currently only great in spurts but he could certainly win if he is on that night. but plently of guys in 250 class also fit that bill.
@mcineral99 very true. However the gap from 1st to 2nd in points at the final is still only 9 points, which ironically is exactly how many points Chase is ahead of Jett going in to the series.
Concrete barriers and Motorcycle racing are a lethal combination. Especially at the speeds they will encounter. We can only hope that they all make it out alive. 😢
Idk with jett, i’d say chase is on another level and able to bring the confidence into charlotte, eli could be a contender too deegan will also have confidence going into the rounds and because of the championship last year too
@doglover136_ I have a hard time seeing Eli contending for it. Unfortunately. I wish it weren't the case but I don't think he's at that level anymore.

They really should make it where if ya start on left moto 1, ya have to start on right moto 2 and vice-versa.

No
So they keep the starting points going into smx?
Yes… so Deegan had most pts combined SX/MX, so he starts with 25, kitchen 2nd most combined for the year, so he starts with 22, Vialle 20.. and so on
I hope no one gets hurt.

Deegan takes it in the 250 class. Sexton in the 450 class with the Lawrence brothers finishing outside the top five😮
