    First, Jen is awesome. What an incredible vibe and perspective she gives on everything. So wonderful to see someone on the business side be so transparent.
    I have noticed in the last 6 mos in my tik tok feed that sync has become the "new thing." Thank you Ari and Jen for being so clear on how it all works and how the pieces of the puzzle all fit. I followed the IG link and look fwd to learning more. Thx 👍😊

    I appreciate her transparency. She’s very authentic with her experiences and advice here.
    It sounds to me like originality is essential for sync music and knowing every player involved with your songs is critical to improve your chances for landing opportunities.

    Love loved this content. I’m saving this to refer back to as I complete my Disco tagging and playlists. Now if we can get Splice To come on and resolve how they are working with sync to avoid any possible legal issues 😊

    I’m drinking in ALL your vids on sync. Q: what’s the minimum # of releases an indie artist should have to be attractive to a sync agency?

  • @rianwyld
    @rianwyld 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    Not getting a composer to recreate the song they don’t own 😭😭😭😭😭

    It's so hard. most of my experience I have to give away most of my rights and percentage. mainly collecting backend from writer share only. It's barely making me anything even though I got many placements.

      @@ArisTake maybe. But would you say that exclusive 50/50 split everything is good?

    • @ariherstand
      @ariherstand 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@prongpraison8463 many sync agents only take 25% with no backend (like Jen & Low Profile)

    wait…Ari…when you use Apple or Native Instruments the agreement says “free and unlimited use in original commercial productions” does that still need to be cleared with a sync library?
