    Thanks for the videos. Really enjoy them and find it interesting to see what can be done with carbon. With companies that do different levels of carbon, particularly in the MTB world, do you find there is much difference between the levels they offer? For eg Santa Cruz with C or CC and Yeti with C or T etc

      It’s a complicated answer as not all manufacturers approach their mtb designs in the same way. Mainly because of the many disciplines compared to road bikes for example. What we do see however are many ‘experiments’ which in some cases find their way into road bike designs. One big difference is the complexity of MTB’s. However not to avoid your question, the carbon manufacturing process of prepreg layup (excluding woven or printed) are generally very similar. Your question should be, do you see differences in the resin-to-carbon content? ..and the answer is yes. A lot of weight can be removed by leaning out the epoxy content. This is where we see see some problems. Those companies with access to their manufacturing partners, or manufacture themselves, have the best control over quality. Thanks for your question!
