Without OC here are some things to try (numbers refer to which mod in each tier): Speed-Shooter: 1,1,2,2,2 {fast firing, but can run out of ammo quickly) Heavy Barrel: 1,2,1,2,1 {overall damage boost + turret whip} Breaker: 2,3,2,4,2 {armor breaker and tight choke for better precision when aiming at weak points} - these are just ideas, It is best to tweak it to fit your play-style. Any time you encounter a weapon that you think is inferior, ask yourself what is the one thing that would make it better, and then try to take a weapon mod to give it that quality. For example, if you find that you keep getting caught with your weapon needing to be reloaded, you could add a bigger magazine or faster reload (or take born ready perk), If you get overrun by swarms because you can't kill them fast enough then try more damage,more pellets, or faster rate of fire, etc.
