There is no scripture for a pre tribulation rapture. Matthew 13 wheat and tares, "Let both grow together until the harvest", which is on the last day. You can't have a harvest 7 years before the harvest. If there was...Jesus would have been wrong.
There's more to God's word than the gospels. I urge you to read on. You may then understand that the parables of the kingdom (Jewry) have been suspended until the end of the dispensation of Grace which is extending salvation and eternal life to all living on the planet (revivals going on worldwide right now). You don't know this because you don't read St. Paul who ALONE received the last word from Christ from heaven outside of Israel for the World. At the death of an individual, you do not need to read all his/her wills, just the final one. Read Acts 9 and ff and note Jesus' word there than read Paul in Timothy and Thessalonians for what will be immediate future events of uncertain timing.
I skimmed through a few chaoters after I noticed this in my local public library. Unfortunately, it was hard to take seriously a purpirted scholar who asserts that premillennialism came about after the Reformation.
If you cannot come to truly believe and trust that the words of Jesus are true and fulfilled in the first century in these three verses; MT 10:22-23, MT 16:27-28, & MT 24:34; Then you cannot truly believe and trust in Jesus either. But you can think that you trust Him. And that's the irony of it.
@@georgemooyman7155 Yes! Like in 1 Thes 4:15-18, where Paul uses the emphatically-expressed first-person personal pronoun "eg-o" translated "WE'" in telling those Greek-speaking living breathing people that some of THEM would still be alive to partake in the coming of the Lord and the resurrection.
@@georgemooyman7155 Won't work. Only the WE's that are in "WE' that are alive and remain" are emphatic in verses 15 and 17. The timing was that it was some of THEM that would be alive to witness and take part in the event.
Makarov. Mat 10:22-23 is talking to Israel about not being able to give their kingdom gospel to all Israel until after the tribulation. All Israel has to hear the kingdom gospel before it goes to the world. That won’t happen till after jacobs trouble. Next is your Mat 16:27-28 quote. Read the next 2 verses in Mat 17:1-2 1And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. Mat 16:27-28 already happened. Next Mat 24:34 here it is. 34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. What generation he says will see all those things are the ones that see the things in the verses before verse 34. The answer doesn’t start in verse 34 like your saying. Am I getting this wrong what your saying? Pauls gospel revealed to him by God is we are saved if we believe Jesus died for all our sins, was buried and rose again the third day. Jesus was teaching the kingdom gospel to the jews. Do you think Jesus earthly kingdom gospel was he died for all their sins? They rebuked him for saying he was gonna die. Even after his death they didn’t understand he had to die. Jesus words in red are not the grace gospel he gave Paul. What exactly are you saying?
The most telling part of the title of this book that confirmed my theological, historical bias - that history is devolving according to the dispensational script not because it is Biblical prophecy per se, but because it is the historical narrative promoted and preferred by secular elites, mystery school adepts, mystery schools i.e. secret societies. "How....end times [prophecy] shaped a nation" but not only a nation but the geo politics of the entire Middle East. Israel Jerusalem is key to understand the staged [synthetic] drama of History as elites promote it. whereas true biblical prophecy is centered on the Gospel of Christ in His accomplishment of redemption - Not land nor Jewish people centered as it is with dispensationalism. I was first introduced to this idea of dispensationalism not fully understanding as an 11 year child watching evening CBS, NBC, ABC news day after day they were giving so much publicity to Hal's Lindsey's book, Late Great Planet Earth, which ii bought for 25 cents at Goodwill in Bakersfield Ca. not understanding, but intrigued with the sensationalism of reading the book of Revelations which I understood absolutely nothing. The promoting of Hal's Lindsey's book was incessant akin to Davinci Code book on newscast years back. Looking back and mature understanding that it was promoting support for Israel's Middle East conflicts as the ulterior motive of being the reason.
NO. Read Peter's presentation in his sermons (and those of Phillip and S.) in early chapters of Acts and note how similar they are to Jesus' salvational teachings of "believe AND bring forth righteous works". Peter never mentioned the fact of Jesus' shed blood nor eternal life in heaven with Jesus. In contrast with the belief + works requirements of Jesus and Peter, etc. the current gospel is of grace that still required trust or belief in God's promises of salvation but rejects the entire system of Law as in competition with God's free gift of salvation going so far as to warn that attempts to "help" God with our salvation actually negates it! So be warned to not mix Law and Grace! Under grace, salvation is entirely unearned yet works of righteousness are expected - we should judge ourselves - just not for any part of our salvation that promises an eternal home in heaven (not earthly like Law) with our brother Jesus.
You have a lot of company but a simple, careful reading will show that there are differences between gospel of Paul and those of Jesus and Peter's . All were "good news" but with different contents (one-at-a-time) for different audiences and different purposes. You cannot understand what God is doing in the world so long as you believe no change to the gospels from Jesus' presentation thru that of Pater which died out in Mid Acts to be replaced by "my Gospel" (to Romans - this message of Paul succeeds that of Jesus on earth and replaces it with Jesus' revelation from heaven to Paul in Antioch.) at the right time for before and after crucifixion. See details in my previous comment. Just as the most recent will is the one that gets acctivated by someones' death, the most recent gospel is the ONE that is in force post death. And visit of multiple popular but mistaken beliefs about Jews, Gospel and Salvation@@kenklein9228

How about also believing the new instructions that Jesus Christ gave to the apostle Paul?
These instructions were given to Paul and not the 12.

You missed out V13 and 14. Maybe the 'we' are those who are alive when the Lord returns, and the 'them' are those that are asleep.

Did Peter and Paul teach the same thing?

Yes, they did. And they taught the same thing as Christ. One gospel.

You have to tear down the bible if you want tear down dispensationalism😂
If your faith depends on the eschatology you believe then you should be questioning your faith.
???
It was my committed biblical study (both privately and at the university level) that turned me away from dispensationalism.
You'd probably be surprised by the biblical arguments. th-cam.com/video/JMhQfIXOHl8/w-d-xo.html
One should not be making life commitments (as in matters of salvation) without knowing where you're going!@@edwardelliott5756
