My cat and I have been watching all morning! I am subscribed to your channel and it's my favorite bird watching channel by far. I have never seen a hummingbird like that before. So beautiful!! Are you in the US?
Best vidios out no dumb anoying music just birds birds water Greene it's so perfect and beautiful all your relaxing vidios I'm so so glad years ago I found your chanel I sleep eat watch all-day and nite no more stress thanks again
I had to move almost a month ago and no longer able to feed all the birds (especially the blue jays), squirrels and rabbits, nor watch them bathing in their birdbaths. I have an awful pain in heart and just miss them all so very much. This will be the closest I'll get to seeing them again as before, so thank you for providing the video and my cats have also been enjoying watching them too. 🐦🐤🦅🦜🕊
I’m the same… I miss consistently feeding birds and squirrels, but not from moving, unfortunately the food was drawing in wild rats too affecting surrounding habitat and neighbours! so sadly now it’s only occasionally, frosty/icy conditions etc. but always have my bird bath 😊
I had to give up my wild birds when I moved into an apartment recently. This video allows me to still enjoy the sights and sounds of birds, without having to worry about buying bird seeds and keeping water in their bath! Thanks so much!!
at 1:10:35, a ruby-throated hummingbird enters the birdbath video and takes some sips of fresh water (not the usual sugar water or nectar) from the bird bath, and the hum is very soft, could some of us can hear it in the video. The red throat looks sparkly in the light from the sky as he take sips from the bath. :)
Omg, loving this! Would you be kind enough as to share where you purchased this bird bath? Moving to a new house, I would love to have this or something similar, when we're settled. Thank you! PS: Watching and listening to this peaceful piece. So beautiful, thank you for sharing with the rest of the world. ❤️
I appreciate feedback about the different varieties of birds. I am on the Gulf Coast now but when I lived in Maryland I was visited by countless different species of birds owls, we had herons on our creek, egrets, bald eagles, turkey buzzards, hawks, of course blue Jays and cardinals, hummers, chickadees, you name it! I'm not as frequented with that variety here, not many that I am too familiar with!!! Thanks for imparting your knowledge!!
I love this but please put something up so that the hummingbirds can drink too. You had a little visitor at about 1:10/1:11 on this video and the poor littles couldn't get a drink. 😩 TIA.
Oh my gosh I know! They really need their own fountain, they are able to drink n swim from the big one but it's so busy they constantly get frightened off by the bigger bossy birds nearby. The hummingbird feeders are definitely all their territory though 😀
Is that the Athens Stonecasting 18-in wide (lighthouse base) from Lowes? How deep in the center? How much water does it hold? The specs say 0.04 gallons. That can't be right. Would only be 5.12 oz.
yes! I think... it's not available online it seems but they always have them in store here in SC. I would guess it holds almost a gallon though maybe they meant .4 gallons?
what is the make of your bird bath? i like that it is shsllow enough for birds to actually bathe so i would love to know do i can investigate to buy one.
Where did you get this birdbath? Looks like it has a good depth. Some are too shallow, while others are too deep. I'm trying ceramic plant saucers, one beige and one green. The birds take drinks, but none will go in and splash.
It's from the hardware store, it seems to be good for all birds maybe because there's no lip on the edge, they can land and then slowly enter the water to whatever depth they like. I also tried a shallow pan and they all avoided it.
@@LensMyth they can land and then slowly enter the water to whatever depth they like - I think you have it. The smaller birds land on the edge, walk in, splash, then walk back out to the edge and shake themselves off. The ceramic saucers have a steep drop and are too slippery to walk on. Concrete gives traction. Have you looked at the birdbaths for sale? Many seem designed to be aesthetically pleasing to us, but not really functional for birds. They're yard ornaments. I've had a hard time finding one that works, so I tried simple planter saucers.

@@LensMyth Awesome, thank you so much! 😊
@@LensMyth did you rig up that little stream of water into the bird bath on your own? I love it!
deliziosi animaletti

At 5:15:39 a yellow (female) summer tanager appears at the bath for the chance to bathe.
It's been toooo long since she's come by

Hi can i ask what camera you use for the footage? Great videos well done!
I have news for you..... The cats are not the only ones who watch the bird filled bath.....(lol) :)
You know that's right!
So true, after they've tried attacking the screen and give up and leave I still listen to it!

i see a cats head popped up lol
What is the trickle of water coming into the bird bath?
That's just a bit of fresh water for birds. Keeps mosquitoes away too.
Where is this place what state?
This is South Carolina like around Columbia.
Is that a thrush at 4:00?
Cardinal female
what is the bird name 31:56 ?
That's a male house finch being a bit timid about taking a bath
theres a shower too lol
Can someone please tell me what type of bird is at 5:16:20? Thanks.
Hi! That's the Eastern Bluebird. Do you get those too?
