Our cat is convinced the brown squirrel is an immediate, existential threat. Personally, the hooman has enjoyed watching the squirrel politics between the brown and dark grey/black squirrel. Plucky little brown is quite the scrapper. Your backyard is lovely.
My cats love your channel, it plays on the bedroom TV 24/7. This video especially is a top favorite - and our go-to when the cats need a distraction, as soon as the BlueWind logo comes on they run right to the TV ☺ Incredible high-quality videos with lots of diversity, I enjoy them too! Of all the hundreds of different long form, dog or cat, anti-anxiety type videos my 2 pitbull have seen on you tube, this is the only one that they actually watch and stay invested in. I watch it with them sometimes. It can be a bit mesmerizing. Relaxing and hilarious! During some parts I just kept thinking of old looney toons cartoons. Like watching Sylvester chasing after Slowpoke Rodriguez or something else from that Tex Avery/Mel Blanc golden era of American animation.

My personal opinion as to why so many of our pets, both cats and dogs, enjoy watching this is because there isn't a lot of background and surrounding stuff to catch the eye, just the tree stumps and the birds (or squirrels) and it's easy to see them hopping from one to the other. Even my cats who have seen hundreds of these videos on other channels like this one and will sit on the bed perched for quite some time just staring (and drooling), and I can see them fantasizing about how they'd like to jump through the monitor and have some REAL fun! So you have our thanks as well!
There are a lot of videos on TH-cam made for cats. My two cats have watched a lot of them but for some reason this channel's videos are the ones that they will sit around and watch all day. I'm not sure what the plot lines are or what the secret sauce is but they go bonkers for this channel. 👍

We have a 72" tv and our cat sits on our sound bar which is in front of the screen and stalks the tv. Then all of a sudden he will jump up and try to catch the squirrel or birds. As they run away he jumps up to get them. Because of this, he also now likes Fox News, all movies and series and the screensaver. We have to physically remove him.

My cat recently discovered TH-cam and enjoys cat tv a lot. :) Thanks for uploading! As a sidenote: It's not suggested to feed peanuts to squirrels, probably switch to hazelnut or walnut instead.
We don't typically feed the squirrels peanuts when we aren't recording, but we definitely put them out for the videos. We have a semi-squirrel proof platform feeder we do put peanuts out on mainly for the bluejays and crows. We used to think it was squirrel proof, but some very clever squirrels have found their way onto that feeder on occasion. Thank you for the tip on the other nuts. We'll get some and see how they like them!
