It's a storage depot... Porterbrook Rail own the site and it has around 12 miles of track.
701.025 has gone down to Eastleigh
Is that a T69 remaining?
its a shame GWRs 769s never made it past the teething Problems, would of been great to see them running, ah well, wont be long till they become rasers XD
Agree 100% , would be nice to have seen them in service
Are these trains te be scraped?
The Blue and white ones are brand new
I actually thought they were brand new trains going for testing before they go into service
The 719s were brand new. So many faults and problems mean that they still haven't entered service yet and have been stored until ironed out
Especially the 321s come on LSL get a couple of 321s
Do you mean the 319s that are now 769s?
Why don't LSL take on some of these trains
I don't know. Do LSL run electrics?
People should get these trains either to a heratige railway or into service! It’s disgraceful.
Most of those trains are too long for most heritage railways, surely?
Plus they kinda look electric. Not aware of any heritage lines with OLE? 😂
The 701's have been on test for sometime. With the technology available, these should just work out of the box really!
or third rail .... !
Why don't LSL take on some of these trains
Wouldn't think they'd want third rail electrics really. I guess they'll be in service soon , fingers crossed!! Thanks for watching
Most of these are for South West Railway, to replace much of their current fleet
