I prefer series over the films. Leave the films for major events. With a series it gives you more time to get to sit and get into the characters heads which makes them more compelling. Eternals should have been a series.
Series serve their purpose in that they introduce other key characters, places & events to take place along the main chronology of the whole. But eventually those series leads will have to get involved into the bigger fold of things to come. I.E. Wanda not having her own film, but series. Now, she is a key role to the Multiverse of Madness. As is Loki, which hasn't been seen. With his series, he being a key & possible phase 4 baddie into the fold. He also set the events for Multiverse of Madness, along with Wanda in WandaVision and Strange in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The magic that Marvel Studios can do that the other never looked to touch on. Other than a teaser that serves zero purpose but fanfare on their tv series.
@@ZikenX I think they could have at least introduced the characters before hand so that the audience could have more of an attachment to them before the film.
Marc says he’s been doing this “for a long time” and has been married. In the comics Mark is the main identity and Steven is a split personality there’s also a third named Jake lockley notice how there’s always three reflections reflections and not just two. All of Marcs feelings for his wife everything he feels for her has manifested in Steven
Mr. Knight looked dope in this episode. Another great episode. The back and forth between Steven Grant and Marc Spector was my favorite part of this episode. Khonshu looks terrific in this series. Arthur Harrow is a great villain. I love the visuals in this show. Arthur Harrow being a former avatar of Khonshu, was an excellent twist. Arthur Harrow roasting Khonshu was cool-blooded. I'm also enjoying this show. I loved the interaction between Steven Grant and Arthur Harrow in this episode. Khonshu has no chill. Another thing I loved about this episode was Layla and her interaction with Steven Grant was fun to watch.
Mr. Knight debut was so good. I really dig how Steven basically manifested his own suit, or his idea of what the armor of khonshu looks like in his head.
Very solid second episode! Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke are killing it. May Calamaway as Layla is great. I freaking LOVE Steven Grant so much. That brief moment with Mr. Knight is so cool. I need more with him. That "argument" between Marc and Steven was heartbreaking. Can't wait for next week's episode.
The QR codes on the walls when you scan them take you to digital copies of werewolf by night. The one in episode one takes you to the first appearance of moon knight in comics The second is another werewolf by night comic but I'm not sure of it's significance
I swear I love MoonKnight and I'm glad they are giving characters like him his own TV show instead of a movie because it's smart. It's smart for a characters like him especially since some people don't know him like that and he's not popular like everybody else it's smart to give him his own show so people can get to know him and love his character and then maybe transition him to the big sreen
Completely agree. Even with WandaVision, FATWS, and Loki it gave “minor” characters so much more screen time to flush out their characters and let the audience connect with them more. Very smart and awesome of Marvel
@@RodrequezRobinson2001You shut up. Nowhere in my statement did I complain. I love this show so much I want a movie. I swear people on the internet talk shit for no reason
So we have debut of mister Night. I love this. I like that you cannot see the jackal when Steven/Marc is fighting it. Just because something isn’t real to someone else does it mean it’s not real to you. We had to return of MCU purple power. I like that Arthur has his hands everywhere I love his cult members are part of the police corruption which gives me the idea that maybe Arthur wants to be the God he doesn’t want to be an avatar. I like the Disney+ jump from the previews that we see from one night. All the stuff that Layla likes is what Steven likes so I feel like Marc is the main personality and Steven is what he created later. Steven is definitely his softer side but I feel like all of that comes from Layla. The jacket is definitely based off of Anubis got of the dead in Egyptian mythology. A lot of this reminds me of the 90s movie Spawn just how he moves. khonshu is kind of a dick lol. With the difference personalities talking through mirrors it reminds me of extraordinary gentlemen Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
No one can see the jackal, except Marc, and, by proxy, Steven 😰🤔. Unfortunately, to the rest of the world, he looks drunk/crazy 😓. I wonder if other people of the mystical realm can see the jackals (aside from Arthur and (possibly) his cultists). I also wonder if anyone else can see Khonshu, aside from his Avatar(s) 🤔?
It’s cool how they talking about how if they depart then the girl will be the next candidate because I hope we do see a Woman Moon Knight or have her become her own avatar too. Even if it’s like when we got female Venom for a few minutes when Anne went to return Eddie Venom but Moon Knight instead!
If you scan the QR code it takes you to Marvel to read for free a copy of Moon knight, WereWolf by Night issue.

I agree I liked Eternals but it could have been better as a series
A celestial being born by destroying the planet isn't a big enough event to be a movie?
