Amen brother 🙏 This hit close to home for me. Me & my brother grew up on that government cheese. I too took a vow at a young age to provide for my family without government assistance. Purchased my first home at 27 (my goal was 30) and 10 years later life is still on the incline. As my second born child, first daughter is now 10 years old, I have been very focused on providing a strong, confident, respectful, manly role model in her life 😎

I was weak, anxious, depressed,overweight, angry. Almost died and lost 18inches of my intestine and two weeks in the hospital. I was helpless. Pain and suffering woke me up. Lost 30 pounds...for me 5"7" 180 was obese. Now I weigh 147lbs and stopped smoking, got fit. I embarrassingly was a bad role model for my 4kids and wife. Two years later now. I have confidence, and am thriving at my sales job(beersalesman). I was given the second biggest route in our company of 500. Doubled my income and became present to my family. I owe it to myself, my kids,wife to be a man. My father was successful but wasn't present. I didn't know how to be a good man. So my goal before I die is to guide my two boys to become better men then I am. I am driven now and want more. I am capable of greatness if I drive myself. I thank you for your content and am getting my house in order. So that I can move on to bigger and better things. Great wisdom,great content. Respect

This is a long shot but if you got any advice for someone that’s disabled that wants to better their lives and get off disability then that would be awesome. Disability advice is really lacking on the web. I have a game plan so I’m not just making excuses and crying but it definitely is a pit to get out of. And what a lot of people don’t understand besides the facts that your disability can limit you is the reliance of government benefits (mostly healthcare) that we have. They have so many rules that it’s hard to get out of the pit because you have to make a crap ton of money starting out to be able to do it on your own.
I have a spinal cord injury (SCI) and am paralyzed but that’s not even the real issue. There are tons of other issues that can come from a SCI. So for now my game plan has just been to try and improve my health the best I can while saving for a business idea. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Your right about having alot of money whwn I had tons of it I had help alot of people. Then I went threw a bad year in 2021 (devoice) had to start over and all those folks I had help over the years places and businesses came to help me. Keep in mind I didn't reach out to them for help cause I always figure out a way to do so but threw word of mouth they all came to help me back up. I asked why and they all said I didn't have to do shit for them but I did so now I'm getting it in return.

I'm really improving on everything BUT my health. Finances, self-sufficiency, my career, marriage, etc. are going great. I'm really struggling with my weight though.
Like he says the way you do anything is the way you do everything. Take the disciplines you are using in the areas that are going well for you and apply them to your health. Start slow, start walking and increase your activity as you go. You got this!!! Let's Go!

He still lives in my house with his pregnant girlfriend. He has no desire or drive to elevate himself. He has a part time job at Amazon as a warehouse worker. Generosity generates happiness. Whether it's generosity of time given or money given. This is something that can be practiced without being rich, and probably should be, but if you're rich you can certainly offer more money and have a larger impact.
An uncomfortable truth is that when you are fat even with muscle and you work out your mind is not on point. Even if you work out you hate the way you look which takes away from where your confidence and where you direct your mental energy.
Yes you mentally feel better from exercise but the extra fat you carry takes away from you a lot. At least in my experience

A friend mentioned us making our own hot sauces one day. I'm really working this man. I'm making some SAUCE that I can turn into MONEY! I got some great branding ideas today, I know my way around flavor profiles and a kitchen. There's no reason why I can't create the Red Bull of hot sauce. Once I get this going and can safely package them, some will be coming your way my man.
I work in IT for law enforcement. A TON OF these guys know bad times are on the horizon. They're getting fit, they're locking and loading, and they're building gardens and livestock farms. All of them? No, but, you can definitely sniff out the dudes who know from the dudes who are just putzes trying to play big man.
Last...I'm in bad shape dude. Fat and unhealthy. My biggest problem though is an f'ed up knee from tearing my ACL and it going untreated, and an f'ed up back from warehouse work and accidents. Anything you can advise would be hugely appreciated.

@BedrosKeuilian I know this message may or may not find you and I apologize in advance for the long winded message but I need to thank you very much for helping me improve my life. I was very depressed, over weight, didn't give a fuck about much around me. Don't really have any friends. But since listening to your shows on TH-cam it has helped me alot. In June of this year I was clipping the 250lb mark and decided that this boat was getting out of hand. Since June I am now at 215lbs and my goal is as close to 200lbs as possible by my birthday which is at the end of the month here in October. I overall feel better on a daily basis. I do know that my target weight will not make me jacked but it's a good start. Your advice and outlook on life is very inspiring and I thank you for everything. I plan on purchasing your book and getting some tru lean products in the near future once I am in a good position to do so. Anyway just wanted to thank you again for everything.
