It can be done on a mapped cave but not this one. Too many unknown obstacles that can ruin a very expensive drone. The gushing river alone would be a problem.

My concern about anything found in China that might contain unknown animal species is bluntly.. they would shield them away from ever being known about and eaten by their people who continue to be allowed to eat endangered animals with no consequence. Lemur, Golden Snub Nose Monkey, South China Tiger, Asian Elephant, Sumatran Rhinoceros... The red market trade for rare animal species is vile and the whole world should hold them accountable.

If you were to place huge amounts of water on top, wouldn't it cave in if water was able to pass through the caverns below, since the land above the cavern would be the weakest link. Every culture spoke of a worldwide flood cataclysms. You cannot share legends like such if it ain't universally real. No other culture speaks of any other cultures legends, however all universally spoke of a worldwide flood, recorded as to cover the highest peaks of the world. That is a lot of weight for this little land to carry if it was above the caverns at the time.
This would have been a good candidate for English dubbing rather than subtitles. They went by quickly requiring full attention, leaving no time to enjoy the visual. Frustrating.
