Really? I usually cleanse in the shower and do everything else when I’m out because it’s easier to wash. I have a short skincare routine (cleanser, toner, moisturizer) and I don’t always do moisturizer. Should I stop doing cleanser, or should I do it only at nights or smth?

Try drinking warm water in the morning as the first substance that enters your body and last substance before going to bed. Replace your coffee with warm water and 3 hours before going to bed. This helped reduce the oil production on my skin. Also taking Vitamins C and D helped a lot too. Id recommend do your research first before trying these out. I hoped this helps.

Could blotting with a paper or an eco-cleansing pad (washable) help? Maybe that would leave just enough oil on the skin, without disrupting the skin barrier. During corona, I had very dry hands from all the washing, and the apothecary-person told me to use a moisturizer with enough "oiliness" in it, because if it's too watery, you start to feel an unpleasant "tingling, like slightly burning" sensation on your over-dry hands, and that would mean the hand cream is too watery and not oily enough to replace the oils missing from the skin.
