Nice one Dave, good job! Agree on changing peripheral parts whilst you're in there deffo. Bit of anti-seize in places goes a long way tho, specially in your climate lol
😂😂 No way it was so easy to get the bearing bolt off - impact driver didn’t even loosen it 😂😂 and yea this is one of the cheaper dash lights to put out, cheaper than a full tank of gas 🎉
Probably didnt "Need" to change it but since you put in all the work to remove it, and with that many miles, it makes complete sense. Great Job!
Fully agree, was just a build up of dirt...had the parts so did the job.

Brilliant video dude 👏 I need to do both hubs sensors arms and abs pump this weekend so this has made my life abit easier 🙌
Vw have done a recall on abs pumps on early mk6 recently....your car maybe covered 😉
Good video Dave , i have this fault on my mk7 on same wheel lol , cheers mate
I had an ABS light on my 09 GTI and it was the rear wheel speed/ abs sensor. New one in and light was off. Did it all from behind

I have an Eonon VWA12S6G and running carista app

What happened to the car if abs are faulty
ABS stops the wheels from locking and going into a skid if you brake hard. It's an MOT fail if the ABS light is on, due to the car being unsafe
