- Vampire Survivors Part 50 - this secret character has a LOT of lightning rings, and I don't know know if they get buffed by limit break, but they're quite cool. Either way, it's fun to take on a map I haven't shown on video yet, it's got a unique challenge and secret.

you can seal off the evolution of your weapon in the collection menu (if you have the powerup for it, which it looks like you do) and it won't show up in chests either

note: boss rash normally does not spawn nearly as many regular enemies, it's the charm powerup adding 100 enemies per wave
Figured that was the case. I definitely didn't remember it being this absurd.

holy shit no wonder the golem wave was so nasty, maybe it only spawns 10 or something normally since theyre so beefy
@@eden3669 No, the boss rash on hyper inverse is usually this bad, it’s just that Tylers dps was poor that they weren’t dying quick enough

@@Stomeruk I think it fits into the false idea that if i shoot a hundred bullets I'll kill things quicker. forgetting if each bullet does 1 dmg vs shooting 50 bullets doing 5 dmg each. some people just assume speed > damage especially when they forget CRIT stacks off base dmg so get that going up and it's a quick cycle. gotta balance.
Man, I want to have a job like Area upgrades had here.

Yeah, true, my man didn t take might once, in a 4 by 4 square, because area with 100 dmg is really good 🤦🏻♂️
I think the content over the past few weeks has been one of my favorite eras for this channel. Just a perfect storm of all the games I love seeing Tyler play the most!

Look at all those items. Imagine how strong the arcana that brings everything to you would have been on this map. You could have had every item!
Unfortunately this arcana is kind of a nerf to you in this map. There are so little enemies in the map that even without it you would find it hard to fully level up a weapon normally. With all those power ups then, even worse.
As long as you avoid picking the bracelet and metaglio you're in net positive the gardians really scale up the difficulty

@@ashwingupta6912 without the charm upgrade? Because that's kind of the last item you get in the game. Even then, it's possible, but far from easy.
From what people have said it seems like Tragic Princess can even surpass the cd reduction cap of -95% and it even effects Oni's invisible lightning ringa
Yeah, it can, because the Tragic Princess doesn't give you cooldown reduction, it simply reduces the internal base cooldown of the weapon, which, then, is multiplied by your cooldown reduction stat.
You're getting +3% area on the microscopic radius of lightning, might would have slaughtered those guys

@@KCzz15 it is kinda multiplicative. Limit break adds base damage to the weapon, which then gets multiplied by your might status.
@@KCzz15 tbf your basically saying it didn’t matter what he got, but it still would have been more logical to kill things faster rather then kill nothing, all at once with area.
actually, might is a flat bonus, no a percentage. It only gives + 1 damage instead of the scaling 1% that it shows

If you really wanna do an unevolved weapon, I'm pretty sure if you have the 'seal' upgrade unlocked you can seal the evolution in the menu and it'll stop the weapon from ever evolving (like stopping holy bible from turning into unholy vespers for the sake of the divine bloodline arcana, but still using spell binder)

Evolved Lightning Ring not only tosses out Double lightning, it also causes a nice AoE circle where it strikes.
Allowing for multiple targets to be struck by it.
So why do you think he was recommended to not evolve then?

Evolved Lightning Ring can’t fire until its first attack repeats
there's a boss rush strat that's similar to this, but uses Porta w/ lightning ring and the Game Killer arcana to keep Porta's starting -95% cooldown stat
I recommend trying Limit Break with Arca, the Fire Wand hero. If you combine his passive with Empty Tome, the Silent Old Sanctuary Arcana and the cooldown power up, you can get -100% Cooldown (I tried this myself, it doesn't crash the game since I do think there's a built in minimum cooldown around 90-95%). It is hard to survive with just Fire Wand before you evolve it though, so be warned. Also make sure to pic up the Waltz of Pearls Arcana, it basically turned it into a mega Runetracer.
Yeah, there's a hard coded minimum cooldown reduction. I have a character with base -200% cooldown, and it doesn't decrease the cooldown further than the -95%

Lighting Ring and Thunder Loop have plenty of area on their own. Focus Might.
Tip for the “most adverse fate in green acres” secret, have two modes on that share the same beginning letter, and go in the second non cardinal direction on a compass said in the first episode in your room 2 series :)
Seems like the arcana that pulls everything to you would be perfect for this map, as you could get a run with every item. perfect for limit breaking as well as long as you probably banish skull.
It would actually delay limit break by quite a lot since you have to level/banish every item individually. It would make for an interesting non-limit break run, though.
@@Smilley85Limit Break has much less value per level, being as powerful as possible before you start it seems most important
@@Smilley85 It's more the ability to have everything like armour, hollow heart, etc. It would allow him to have crown and spinach as well along with, well... every item in the game. Not to mention if he built multiple items, like the max clock lancet and guns.
Would be interesting if one could limit break the items used to evo the weapons they're limit breaking... That would be pretty strong. Though some just wouldn't work.
A fun challenge is to start boss rash with the arcana that attracts every pickup and gem to you. That arena has every passive on the outside, so you get a big power Spike. And also get the guardians of the Ring / cape.

I didn't think about using Oni for Boss Rash, I used Clerici/La Borra to complete the secret. I honestly still am not fully sure how that worked, so if anyone ever wants to figure out how, go ahead!

Oh! almost forgot to mention that it was on Inverse and no Limit Break. No Endless cause then secret doesn't get accomplished. But had everything else enabled.

@@bunfnaf126 I don't remember exactly how, but there is a way to bring you projectile speed to near/absolute zero, causing the knifes spawned by thousand edge to just hover and act like a landmine, only going off when an enemy touches them. Reason for not remembering is that i have memory problems. 🙃

Thunderloop is better whenever the enemies can't move really fast. At ridiculous levels of curse, lightning ring is better, but when the screen is covered, thunderloop is better for the double tap on the same location and huge area
every night I'm craving for vampire survivors, wormhole, and terra nil content but at most I only get one 😢
From what I found using porta and game ender made this really easy. You get to keep the massive cool down buff while using the crystals to help kill.

Don't tell me you can increase the _amount_ via limit breaking.
The Drowner in this level has an exception to it's immunities, as if you don't have hurry mode on, it WILL flood the entire arena long before the clock reaches 15 minutes.
You should try Santa water, it was a bit tough to get off the ground for me but it was so fun.

Playing in inverse mode allows you to buy an extra arcana, a few skips, rerolls and banishes from the shop keeper!
i might be wrong on this, but maybe you could use the powerup seal to not be able to get the evolved version of a weapon, or just banish the 8th upgrade

It is possible to use the game killer arcana along with another weapon, and it makes doing the secret much easier. Game killer does not count as a weapon

Due to this character already having a weapon, without using another weapon, i feel it would be great to limit break laurel!
yeah, also if laurel gets -85% cooldown you become invincible

Tyler, might is just a flat bonus, i believe it's +1 damage, not the multiplicative 1%. Also duration is 100 miliseconds or so, not 100%

Saw at the end there with thunder loop a lot of mid 100s in damage numbers. Never underestimate might in this game. If you replaced area upgrades with might those numbers easily would've reached 500+
Also, thunder loop is always better than lightning ring. Same area, better damage, same amount, twice the number of hits
Lightning Ring scales better than Thunder Loop. At level 60, yeah, thunder loop is definitely better. But after a couple hundred levels, it really falls off. Especially with curse.
The problem with thunder loop is that it fires all at once. Yes, it will chain, but then you are on cooldown and enemies can get at you. Lightning Ring, on the other hand, staggers its attacks, so you have constant lightning going. There is no downtime in which enemies can attack you.
That said, this doesn't actually seem to be a problem for you. Either this was changed, or it doesn't become a problem until you get more amount. I suspect the latter :P

I don't understand why he kept thinking that greater AoE was what he needed to deal with the golems. Clearly the lighting ring had a large area of effect already and was able to quickly take care of large waves of weak creatures. Where it struggled was enemies with high health, such as bosses and golems. So why not improve single target damage by upgrading might instead????
You can technically cheese boss rush's 1 weapon only with Porta and Game killer.
Since enemy health scales with levels. You keep an asurdly fast attack speed and high damage, then just get mad groove if possible and GG

If you want to advance the game more then try to enter the place you got the mirror from. It should be in the stage select if you look around, and you can get something from returning to it that could be perfect for these types of runs.

If you really wanna limit break, you gotta take wicked season. It’s very challenging to pull off but if you do it right, I’ve seen thousands of levels.

Day 116 of asking Tyler to cosplay as a Peglin for his loyal fans. Despite the fact the Peglin series is over, I cannot stop with this now.
I beat the boss Rash with the character thet starts with lightning ring and temporary cooldown reduction and I choose the game breaker Arcana so I didnt level up and I had a permanent cooldown reduction of 95% and leveled up the lightning ring with chests
Mark of the red death kinda glitches out on the boss rash with only one weapon. If you have max of that cooldown item and the silent old sanctuary then he just fires scythes endlessly.
It would be interesting to use Endless Mode with this
I'd love to see this with the game killer arcana, seeing as you get so many chests in the boss rash

I'm fairly new to the game! Is limit break a feature in the game, or is this only possible with mods? If it's a feature when do I unlock it?

This map kind of reminds me of Alina of the arena(or whatever it's name is)
Does this map let you somehow escape and get to those offscreen items, or is the only way to get them to summon them to you with that one arcana?? I can easily imagine this map having some fun secrets, or a secret ending where you leap off the stage into the crowd :D
Unfortunately the only way to get all those items is with the Mad Groove Arcana. There's a glitch in the game that lets you pass through walls at extreme movement speed values, and even with that, whenever you try to pass through the wall it teleports you back to the arena.
