This is a brilliant way of sharing information to English Speakers, Jazak-Allah, I think a better translation for Ruh woud be Spirit, You can let me know if its otherwise.
I once heard from a shaykh that you have jism (body), Nafs and Rooh/Rūh. Rooh already excisted long long time ago and was created from a non-tangible ans very special substance and not from the earth. That's why it cannot be tested or seen or proven by scientific methods. Then when the jism is created inside the womb, the rooh is added and put into this jism/body. Right at that moment when the rooh touches the body, the Nafs start to exist. So the nafs is an experienced rooh which was in this dunya inside a body and when it returnes, depending on good or bad Nafs, it will be hold accountable. So the original Rūh is innocent but when it comes into the body and touches the dunya, it gets other qualities and becomes Nafs. Also if the love for dunya is big, the leaving of the body will be harder because it has more dunya-qualities. While if the love for aakhirah is more then the aakhirah-qualities eill be more and leaving the body will be easier and less painful.
What about taking anesthetics ? Is an unconscious body's organs the same as a dead body ? As a conscious body ? Does the ruh leave the body every time one is unconscious ?
As salamu aleikum dear brothers,do you know if this course has been fully translated in English? And if no,have some courses of Ali al Omari (may Allah preserve him) been completely translated in English (like his complete course on one complete book)?
But the assumption that nothing physically changed inside the body that would cause the heart to stop beating, needs to be justified. What if the change is so slow, complex and microscopic (initiated by external physical factors), that only we laymen (with respect to medicine) were unable to perceive it, but the doctors were able to diagnose it?
Different sciences have different terminologies. This lecture is about Aqida and this is how the terminology is used in this science. Similarly the word «sunna» has different meanings depending on the science. In the science of hadith the term has a broader meaning than in fiqh, for instance. So terminology is not a matter of truth or falsehood but rather conventions of any given science.
Correction (0:02) : It is not al-Sanusi who said it but al-Taftazani

Yes. What would become of this video when science explains consciousness and death ?
Could you tell how can you make this translation?
Or which program you use?

Could you send me the link for free download of it, please?
@@youtuber4176 it isn't a free program. You can research how to pirate it, however
What of animals? Do they possess ruh for the same reasons?
Yes, they have a kind of ruh different from the human beings since animals do not have the same mental capabilities.
Equating nafs with ruh is incorrect pursuant to the sufi Masters with exoerience in openings to these subleties.
