I've played console my whole life. Just 2 months ago I switched to keyboard and mouse. I was actually suppressing myself of how good I am on it. I still find myself looking down at the keys sometimes and some other games Id use my controller. But I love it! I'm glad I switched because this rig I got that cost me $3,350 is worth it!
A mouse is more accurate than a right joystick so once you get used to it, you become a freaking laser beam in aiming. Thats why you don't have aim assist on mouse.
This looks more like a "Going back to Keyboard and Mouse after twodays of controller" because I am a really good controller player, and I can switch to keyboard and mouse right now and my skills would go down. 😂
exactly i had a 3+ kd on last 2 console games i played, when i switched to pc i was doooogshit but nowadays i am way better then i used to be on controller but that was after i played a lot to improve.
i feel like it keyboard and controller are completely different skillsets, because all of the controls are completely different. You're not doing anything but aiming with your right hand, but you're also needing to find the best way to place your fingers on the keyboard with your left hand, so that it's comfortable and fast.

@@MrOballs not sure if you'll still looking for help but I personally play with 800dpi and an in game sense of around 10 I think now. I started off at 8-9. I play on console with a kbm so I'm still stuck to 80fov but if you use a higher one you could just scale it with the sensitivity if that makes sense
@@MrOballs so in game sense of 10 at 80fov would be 15 at 120fov. Also I have my ads sense at around 0.7-0.8. Change to whatever's comfortable for you. You could also just set up a custom game with recruit bots and try to find your perfect sense. You could do this by lowering it if you "over shoot" your aim alot or raise if you tend to not flick far enough
@@MrOballs and remember that you could change your ads seperate from your general sensitivity. Which is why I have mine at 0.7 because I'm able to still be precise with aiming down my gun while also being snappy when I'm running around and naturally knowing how far I have to flick to do a 180 or just from any direction

Lmfao, not even. Movement is much easier on Mnk as you need to mainly press things in quick succession. Controllers are slightly harder by comparison because of its schemes. As for aiming, aiming in general is easier on mouse than controller. What you're referring to is reflex aiming and that's significantly different type of aiming, tracking aiming is easier on mouse as well. Good aims are secondary because anyone can pick it up, it all depends on consistency and having good gamesense. They are transferable skills between PC and Consoles, it just depends how much practise you put into it or your exposure to either one.

From my experience , controller is easy to pick up but hard to get really good at, kbm is hard to pick up but really easy to get good at.
