If you've never seen these fly upclose in person, you owe it to yourself to go to an airshow. The ground shakes and everything. It's one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in person. It just gives you the chills in such a good way.

I merely came here to say it’s beautiful to watch the birds in action when you’re on the ground, but now I’m all hung up on comments. Still beautiful, poetry in motion, one might say. But when you’re a poor sob USA 11B & that’s what shows up? Well, hell, you’re bailed out!

I live near a military base. We see F16s every single day for periods of weeks on end. Some fly very low (maybe 50m) over the fields here. Cool for people who visit, but gets very old very quick. Especially if they break the sound barrier ... even though they are not supposed to. KABOOM.

A squadron of FA18 Hornets flew over the CBD of Melbourne in the lead-up to the F1 Grand Prix a few years ago and the sound that echoed and boomed through the buildings literally shook everything. People who were not expecting it hid and ran to cover. Babies cried and women screamed. It was quite amazing. I remember my heart was racing from an adrenaline surge.

I lived across the street from Tinker AFB in oklahoma and they have a squadron of B1 Lancers, B52's and F-16s, they always do touch and go's through out the day.
However the B1 Lancer is the loudest jet I've ever heard.. it pretty neat to see

Fighter jets are scary in general. I love em, but imagine being on the wrong end of these things. NO THANK YOU.
I get fly overs about once a month where I live thanks to Air Force Reserves taking out their birds. Mainly A10s but I've seen some F16s but I don't know for sure we have them stationed here. We also have bombers and stratotankers.
When I was a kid, a group of A-10c's flew over our school so low, they titled their wings when we waved. About 10 seconds later, some more flew by so fast it shook us from the inside. It was amazing. I feel lucky I get to see this stuff.
I have watched the skies here all my life. I also have seen a group of UFO's once. No idea wtf it was, but it was 8 total lights, all green, in 2 square formations, 3 bright green lights and one dim, they moved from southern horizon to northern horizon so fast it made no sense.

Sun roof open, windows open, sunny day, when a Tornado passed overhead about 30-50m (guesstimate), our world stopped , I missed a 90 deg bend, drove straight on and pulled over, probably in shock. I’m not complaining, but confirm that these pilots are very skilled at low flying. Amazing !

If you have never been to an airshow, i highly recommend it.
I will always remember my first airshow. Always.
At one point during the show, the announcer asked everybody to look to the left. The American team was coming. So we all looked to the left. You could see 3 jets closing by. Like really far away. We just kept looking.
    But...
All of the sudden a jet passed from the RIGHT at high speed breaking the sound barrier above us. Everyone was surprised. The boom followed a second later and everyone went crazy.
I was young. It's strange seeing a jet pass at very high speed without any sound. There i found out about speed of sound and stuff. Really cool experience i'll remember forever.

Just when I thought aircraft footage couldn’t get any better, you’ve upped the bar! Just superb videography as well as the still shots. Loved how you captured the breathtaking shots of these gorgeous birds manipulating the atmosphere. Simply fascinating! I recently had my own “Mach Loop” experience outside of the small town of Skyline, Al. It’s a small town 12 miles outside of Scottsboro, Al. that sits at almost 1600 feet of elevation. As I was descending the mountain, I got to the place that overlooks a beautiful valley well down below that is dotted with farmhouses and fields. All of a sudden, a C 130 flies right over the road heading over the valley and was soon followed by another. I don’t know if they dropped any farther in altitude as I lost sight of them(I was in a box truck paying attention to the road unless I became airborne without wings), but nonetheless was a beautiful experience! Thank you much for posting this absolutely breathtaking video.

Lew Rodd- Your comment almost has a cynical tone. Where I’m from in the South we believe that freedom is worth any price no matter what! We fought hard to get it and we fight even harder to keep it. I’m headed out to the back yard now to grill steaks, drink a rum & coke, and fire some freedom downrange! @Billy Hill due to the high angle of attack, the airpressure on top of the plane gets extremely low, so that it is unable to hold the moisture, wich condensates into the white cloud and vaporises once it is in higher pressure air, wich is able to hold it.

    • @godfreecharlie
      @godfreecharlie 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

@Billy Hill LMFAO! Don't you know that on a flatard earth paper airplanes can go Mach 3? That area in the UK has been known for centuries to be riddled with openings to inner earth. There's a whole huge population of upside down people living on the other side of the flatard earth. These F-15 flights are spraying a secret sleepy drug to make it easier for the guys going in to get 'em and bring 'em back. Those upside down people are responsible for kidnapping thousands of children in that area. They have hidden secret trailer parks underneath where they believe the children are being treated poorly. This should get 'em back.

What you're seeing here is four pilots training for a covert mission. They're doing practise runs through the canyon to stay below the surface-to-air missiles located on the top of the ridge. They need to be quick to arrive at a target at the end of the canyon which is a non-NATO sanctioned uranium enrichment plan. The target is located between two mountains, the lead two planes must climb sharply into an inverted dive down into the bottom and place a laser target on a ventilation shaft. The second pair then follow up moments later with the laser guided bomb. They all have a 10G climb to exit the canyon before avoiding the aforementioned SAMs. Not only that, they might have to dogfight their way out. Fascinating stuff, they really should make a movie about it.

Some of those back seaters in the F15E's may have been worried because the pilots were lower than usual based on the videos I have seen. You shouldn't fly too low through the Mach Loop in a Strike Eagle because the ground can get close real fast at 500kt plus. Those C130 and Osprey pilots get to fly closer to the deck because they can sneeze and not have to worry about flying into a mountain.

I didn't realise Eagles were still in service but I see this is a Strike Eagle. I still love that engine roar.

    Stunning photography!
I miss seeing the jets flying by my window. Forty years ago, my office was right on the Conway river, overlooking the castle. Back then we were treated to F104's, A10's, Tornado's, occasionally a Phantom, lots of Hawks as we were so close to RAF valley, and American Fwunnies and Hercs, to name but a few.
I now live in western Canada and don't see a thing. Still, your channel somewhat makes up for it with the excellent imagery. Perhaps I need to get some robust speakers and wind the volume up ;-)

Thanks Paul. Must of been great times back in the day, sadly we don’t get the traffic like it used to be. Thanks for commenting 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

I used to live not far from RAF Valley on Anglesey, I remember the Hawks , chinooks etc. later emigrated to the US now live in the Rockies not far from a C130 base. I ended up serving in the USAF. To me the sound of its engines, every time I hear them, reminds me of my deployments, getting the hell out of Iraq and going home, I don't miss combat landings or take offs, but my father was a navigator in the RAF and flew in C130s, I always found comfort that it was 'his' plane that got me home. One night in Iraq our position was to be attacked in total darkness, we were notified over comms we had a C130 Spectre gunship circuiting us all night, again love the sound of those engines, cheers.

Fantastic! 🇺🇸Amazing how the jets blend in with the mountains until they’re right on you!

Beautiful video. I'm jealous of the C-130 crew from Dyess AFB, Texas ( 5:35 ) who flew through the Mach Loop. I spent most of my low levels over West Texas dodging buzzards and dust devils.

@@JonP_4-31inf - Just kill'm all. The good ones get virgins, the bad ones....I'm not sure what happens to them. When the women get tired of losing their children it will stop but there is no political will to fight a total war anymore. It's not "faaair" to destroy their food supply. It's "inhumane" to have collateral damage that kills a few kids because they were used as shields by cowards. Sure, i feel bad for them because they have been brainwashed for centuries by some goat poker into thinking (and wise by him) that if they join the intifada against the West the poor stupid bastards will get rich and a bunch of women to screw. I've got a better idea, let's let a bunch of them immigrate to "win their precious hearts" and show them we're not that bad. /s
