When this happens, the unit loses the effects of all non-Innate Abilities printed on their card, as well as non-Innate Abilities and effects from any Attachments on the unit." So the loss of abilities from The Rains would have affected the attachment, and the same with the tactics card that Owen played. Ok nvm you caught it just in time! Loving the ASOIAF batreps, cheers lads!
Glad to see you are back to making SONG videos. Always happy to see you playing with fully painted armies. Just don't forget the rules of the game mode you are playing. Owen could have redeployed Jaime on the flank at the start of a round after he died. I'd recommend checking out the new FAQ they released, which while not comprehensive, will probably help with some rules issues. Someone else mentioned it below, but I also will reiterate because it is a very old rule change that you guys have I guess never fully realized... when you make a panic check, the d3 is rolled at the same time as the d6s. This is important as how many wounds are being done will effect whether you want to expend a panic token, and you can also reroll the d3 with the panic token.
Glad there's ASOIAF back! You guys are always fun to watch, no matter mistakes. There's so much new things, like Intimidating Presence for example, that are hard to remember. Thanks for the vid and all you've done and still do for this game and others.
1:09:20 They errata'd shifting as part of a ranged attack: "Q: Can a unit Shift into range when it makes a Ranged Attack, or must it already have a valid target within range to begin with? A: A target must be valid after the Shift. This effectively means units with Long Range can initiate Ranged Attacks from 14”, and Short Range 8”."
Great to see more asoiaf, just a little thing but the d3 for a panic test should be rolled at the same time as the 2d6 and can then be targeted for reroll by a panic token same as the 2d6.
Great game, interesting lists. I liked them. Just remember Crit blow and Precision don’t combo anymore. Crit blow says adds plus 1 hit. I know these videos are all prerecorded weeks in advance, it’s just when you do the next batch.
Cool report, just one note about the panic tests, you roll the D3 at the same time as the 2d6 so the player who can spend the panic token can also request you to reroll the d3 if they wish.
Owen was complaining about not getting Counterplots until the end of his deck, but you forgot Tyrion's once per game ability to search for a Counterplot anytime your enemy plays a tactics card, so you could have had one any time you wanted it.
Are they going to release the updated cards anytime soon? Coz the digital ones can be annoying sometimes. Hope to see More videos for this game, really enjoy watching you guys play
Owen you should switch tywin with Tycho Nestoris as you need more healing...he gives one time ability to heal 5. If you use his ability plus bags you get 8 models back
Correction, you must stay 1” away from your opponent by the end of a move, unless charging into melee. So you can come within an inch, so long as you end an inch away.
Ash one NCU is not a good idea especially with an army like your that is dependant on the money bags. If you go with one than pbailsh would have been a better choice so the you could hug the purse always but still be able to choose other effects if you need to.
Pretty close at the end. Owen controlling the NCU board and the tactics deck put him in a really good position, however I think he passed maybe two morale checks the entire game whereas Ash failed maybe two!
I think that's the problem in a nutshell. Lannister seems to want to primarily attack morale, while disrupting enemy shenanigans and don't hit overly hard. But that's a strategy with a low casualty output that puts most of the initiative in the hands of your opponents. Before they finally went down Ashs Flayed Men basically full healed twice because Lannister can't effectively deal knockout punches.
Second game and it feels rather unbalanced and messy again. And you guys are more in tune with the rules also. Glad you're doing the video it shows a lot of clumsiness with the new "edition."
Could you elaborate on the unbalanced, mess and clumsiness of the new edition? Not that I disagree there are issues with some parts of it, but I do not believe this game is an example of that.

YEEESSSSS! if this is regular content I will cry with joy
Always wanted to get into this game but there's just no community for it in my city. Happy to live vicariously through you!

Make sure you guys roll the d3 with the panic test. At about 20:25 Owen could have included that dice in the panic reroll.

It's a great mistake.
loved the barely controlled 'f- off' lol
I am always a huge fan of you guys, but man am I especially happy when you all do ASOIAF. It's great
When you loose abilities you also loose those of attachments..also if you slide on corpse pile you do not get charge bonus.
Great game. Just on the panic rolls: roll 3 dice, 2d6 and d3 together. With a panic token any of the 3 can be rerolled, including the d3.
Love this game, keep it coming! You guys should try using the random terrain method in the new core rule book.
Great game, interesting lists. I liked them.

To discard bribery is sufficient a simply morale test. Not necessary a panic test (when you attack and take kills).
I love ASOIAF!

Crit blow gives extra +1 hit. The extra hits do not count as 6 for precision
My two fav factions!
more ASOIAF please!
The cuttroughts could not charge Jamie they could only fit 50% because of flayed men...so they would not have fit
50% is the minimum, and is one of the two standard alignments.
Owen you should switch tywin with Tycho Nestoris as you need more healing...he gives one time ability to heal 5. If you use his ability plus bags you get 8 models back
I wonder if there is any people using "House " rules to change up some of the stuff that isnt as popular
Great video! Lannister is a blue deck control style army, right?
Yup!
You have to stay 1 inch away from enemies at all time except melee
Correction, you must stay 1” away from your opponent by the end of a move, unless charging into melee. So you can come within an inch, so long as you end an inch away.

Did You lost a halbedier model?
This battle report doesn't really over much more than charge straight on. Is there any movement options? Looks kinda boring if you cant flank
Where is the source for your new Unit Pivot Trays?
Death Ray Designs!
House Lannister still seems like trash compared to the Northern factions.
Pretty close at the end. Owen controlling the NCU board and the tactics deck put him in a really good position, however I think he passed maybe two morale checks the entire game whereas Ash failed maybe two!
They have a very specific game play mechanic which is not easy to muster.
