    I play this song with, Am Em F and C. ! Works n it's easier. Another similar song I think u wud like is Lone Pine Hill. By Justin Townes Earle. Try that one. It's a truly great special song. And one last suggestion is by the Avett brothers called - No Hard Feelings. That song is almost a spiritual experience when u listen to it. One of the best written songs I have ever heard, period. !! Happy playing. !

    BRO! Thanks so much for the tutorial! You taught me the song, all the way through. Love your energy, man. You seem like a really decent person. And I've gotta tell you - sing it out, brother!!! I see you holdin back on those high notes and dialin it down. Man, just go for it!! Open up! You've gotta do it loud, all in, if you're gonna do it at all. Nothin but a few voice cracks are in between you and totally nailin it. I know you got it in you! XD Nothin to be shy about. People admire a person who'll just go for it, even if it isn't so great.
    Really, it feels great to just open up those pipes and let it pour out. Maybe a bit off at first, but super therapeutic once you start getting it

    Nice job! Just got into the Wood Bros myself. Seems he just capo’s on 1 to eliminate barring the B flat and F. As far as the sound he gets, i would say it has a lot to do with the vintage guitars and upright bass. Nice job again and thanks for the inspiration to learn this one!

    Niiiiice! Laid it out real easy for us, man - thanks!
    I feel like some of us in the comment section can be a bit "asky" but I can't help but take a swing at it. I've been having trouble with Postcards From Hell from the Brothers. Its definitely my favorite from them (so far at least). If it suits you well I'd really appreciate a little video guidance ;D

    What a massively awesome lesson, right after the show! Good dude, man. Love this tune. Deep hillbilly. Buddy has a capo when he does it in the video. Probly best for me to learn it without, cuz I can’t sing that high.

    Can you give me the tab for what you are using for the A# power chord? Awesome tutorial you rock!!

    • @colbymassey7182
      @colbymassey7182  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The A# chord is played exactly like the D power chord just bar the 1st fret 2,3,4&5 strings muting the Big E with the tip of your finger and ring finger on the 4th string 3rd fret and pinky 3rd string 3rd fret . Hope this helps!

      +Sam .Kavkewitz yea man I’m from Covington GA but I haven’t been doing too many lessons lately and I quit doin personal lessons bc I’m trying to get my own band started up so most if not all of my energy and time goes towards that these days. I do want to come back and make more tutorial videos soon but I’m just playin it by ear.
