- Piece by Piece is one of Kelly Clarkson's most famous songs, and in it she sings about how her father hurt her growing up, and how her husband (now ex) picked up the pieces.. But our girl has since been through lots of therapy and realized who actually picked her back up!
In this version she owns her own story, and she's taking back this beautiful song that her ex never really deserved.

I can only imagine how difficult this was for Kelly to sing, even with the healed/changed lyrics. I’m sure it still brings up so many emotions regarding her ex considering the way she originally wrote the song. I didn’t think we’d ever hear her perform this song again. @@HegeOfficial a fan in Vegas that night saw Jason after the show and he was telling her. Apparently she tried them out in sound check but he wasn’t really paying attention and then it hit him what she was saying during the performance

I think I watched all of the fans' videos from Las Vegas but I skipped this one on purpose because I was afraid of the lyrics although everyone said she changed it and made it positive. It was a relief for me to watch it with you and not alone and to be very pleased by the lyrics, for me the lyrics, and especially in Kelly's case, are very important in a song.
