Around the 740 mark you said you copied the midi information when you programed the original break. can you explain that a little more ?If i was trying to do a seperate kick, ive always extracted the groove then cut out everything i didnt want to make it just hit on the kick on my new sample slot. but your way seems faster!

Thank you for this video, and all the other videos too. I have a question. When i layer my own kick on top of a drum break i always get phasing issues. When i throw my kick on top it just sounds weird and flat. Its like every kick hit on a break is different and this gives me a hard time when im trying to use breaks. Some of the hits sounds good but others dont. Do you have a tip or advice for this ?
