- Welcome to my very first episode of "Newbie Handbook" everyone!
This time according to google play review, I have seen some difficult for newbie to grow up by themself, that's why I'd like to make this guide.
This is the boss guide and strategy if you choose mage. You can totally use this guide of mine in order to solve the game with most effectiveness.
Note: Since it's "Newbie Handbook" is a trial project, you can use it even without any decent equip~ If you have anymore request you can write at comment, I'll consider to list them at my future project list inside Newbie Handbook serie ^^/

If you really can't defeat the boss you can always do the easy difficulty and hire a merc ( use strong guild mercs if you have one ) also recommended to join a guild early on as they always help you if needed.
How to join or creat guild ?
Me watching for the nostalgia. Started as main bow, reset to mage then ths then ktn and now finally back to bow. Watching this brings me back to when I was pathetically weak lol... Great guide kronus, ill be sure to rec it to newbs if I meet any when farming early bosses.
How did you level up from 57 to 78? Before fighting the gate u would be 57 but u leveled up to 78 how?
Well even tho i have no regrets starting in Toram with a ktn char, i must say that starting this way with this kind of mage is pretty amazing, and plus this way we can also farm mob easier for both xp and spina
I remember again those times when i was levelling up my ktn main char at bosses with any party i could join along with, good times we had at chat after farming the necromancer or the nightmare potum in the dark realm, and i remember working very hard just to level up, even when im about to fall asleep in session. Btw this method is really good ngl.
Im weak. So i add friend someone who is lvl 150+. So everytime i go to quest, i add him as a mercenary and i have easy kill on bosses even with hard or nightmare difficulty.

Im not beginner but im a old player and remind me the time when only one can farm with wall or arrow rain
Now with tier 4 skills and super weapons are all extremelly easy to do.
I recommend use mercenarys from other chars friends (is free per one hour per friend merc) or, better, make leveling party with other people.
For spina watch items needed for blacksmith (if u no have look npc blacksmith recipes) and sell stack items. Usually people makes our own bs char and are a lot lazy to farm so just go buy in board. If u no sell the item try lowering the price but is a nice way to get ur first spina.
All was young in this game in the beginning. If u have heart and patience, u can be great. Work in your chars and good luck in farms.
When i was a noobs i stucked at ruined temple and trust me if i can find that account i still have 250 orbs that asobimo once gave us and i will become rich easily
After losing my toram acc cuz Gmail cant support toram anymore, and i lost all my methods on how to lvl up fast and now here i am, back to beginner lvl😂😂😂 thank god its still here pwp

About the holy smite, not many newbies know about priest skill tree. Do you recommend this because of the damage or do you have any better alternative?

Ive gotten so far in the game and defeated so many boss but i still don't know what im doing, i was always focused on getting cute things costumes and staffs. Im watching this before i reinstall the game, I was thinking of redoing everything and properly this time. Good luck to me :(

Some newbies might be confused on how u get ur equips. Personally when I started I didn't see any guides but since I played Irina I knew I needed to get better gear, however equipments in toram are rather unique because the 'top tier' equips are actually player made equip, tho some npc equip can be great as temporary equips. Overall it was a good video, very helpful but maybe can u make a separate video on early game equips or smth like

Is it ok that i reinstalled the game and follow your instructions?...... i mean i was level 45 at that time and i used a sword but i still sucked and i cant even deafeat the big crab at scaro town.
lol I redownloaded Toram for the 3rd time after deleting because it got too grindy,
I just started playing this game and watching this tutorial makes me feel conpletely lost. How did we get from customizing our chatacter to battling level 30 bosses... I dont even know how to sort my inventory because its full and dont know what to keep or delete
you can sort out your bag slot by tapping "discard" any uncessary items or sell to a NPC at Sofya City named Sololo to get some spinas xD
There is a green arrow which will guide you where to process the next story quest, just follow it and u will be guided to boss
It's really good for new players, bcoz the base strategy is so strong '-'

After reaching lvl 70. If they're interested in hb, they can go for buster lance dps with punish ray so they wont worry about crit rate first and start to build their character with those skills first.

(Lv.10 punish ray for crit rate and buff for buster lance)
It's maybe weak but its spammable :3
With that they can go dt when lvl 150 without even worrying "again" with crit rate. xD
OK I have to tell you this Kronus and I think it will make you amused
There was one time I was in land under development and I see allot of newbies lately. But once I looked to my side I saw a mage but he wasn't using spells and when I asked him why aren't you using spells instead of basic attacking and that person said I'm trying to make a aspd mage. And I was like kid I can't believe you made a new meta and once I told this to my guildmates that it's viable they went gung-ho just to make that attack speed mage like what's wrong with you people XD. But by the way is 1h with the mage spell that makes basic attack range effective along side with attack speed?

Iam one of those newbies who quit after i reach lvl 100 coz its really hard to lvl up without party . and we all know spina, equipment and a lvl 150 char for the lvl 4 skill are the main here in toram to make u really strong . i quit like 5 times lol but .after watching ur vids . i keep installing it for some reasons😂 . man i suck but i get excited when i watch u do ur guides. i have played this game for around 1 month and i managed to have 3 chars at lvl 170,150 and 110, still struggling with how to make spina though

At lvl145 i kinda start at venena cause i thought it gv me more exp :3 n so i reach till 190 n above..time consuming but still good

14 hours later I'm still stuck in lvl 14 I'm super noob beginner

Ya gotta read the quests and dialog this isn't an auto clicker
I only have one character, and it's a dual sword character. I'm about lvl 167 now and just continuously farming venena. I tried different builds, right now I'm using the STR,AGI build but I honestly feel like going DEX,STR,AGI has better and more consistent dmg. Only thing that sucks is I have no idea how to make spina for good equip, if i had the equips i need i would be dominating.
Thats new though, so dex-agi is for early game i guess, same as katana.
I understand the spina issue as well. If you are dual you can try to collect boss mats and sell them
Dex is not really useful for dw. Ur issue could be with poor accuracy but when u get player made gears you can just make sure to have a statter put crit rate on each piece because the game has a dumb mechanic where crits override accuracy. It works for the way the game is designed but still in basically any other rpg based game accuracy comes first before determining whether an attack does dmg.
Can someone please help me create an account I every time I try it keeps saying create an adbimo account an when I do it keeps telling me to restart . An when I do that it keeps going back to begging an start all over again please help someone
My best advise is first stay in sofia ask for a mid or oldbie to call for help so they can bring you to farm some high level normal monsters and get their gear XD

For newbies i think it's the best to start with mage and focus on it early on as it is the most efficient way,
To level it up to 3rd tier lv75 iirc
it is quite essential early on as farming/refining is the fastest best available way for total f2p clueless new players (as there is something called Gasha in case 🤣)
mage is very newbie-friendly ez but with quite decent performane even with cheap equipments class.
after lv75, after gathering some spina i think it's perfect to make an archer(Bw/Bg) character after as Snipe is arguably the best 3rd tier skill and when you reach 4tier there'll be CF unlocked which needless to say comes in handy
then after reaching 4 tier lv150 finally and getting to understand the game smw
Maybe it would be good to make a Tank character and level it as much as needed
as it is a quite cheap class overall in equips cost
You mainly have to know the boss patterns and get the timing
combos and playstyle for any class ofc can be taken from your usual guides videos as almost everyone need to copy and imitate at first before improving and finding your own play style
Tank will be very useful in boss farming , always gets the rank bonus drop(quite a big spina income way!), no need to contend with the 2s+S players for that Lol
and you'll benefit greatly especially from events since your early Toram days 😂
That's the most efficient way imo mage for farm, Snipe,Cf for Dps, and Tank
but not always Efficiency=Fun
For instance in the case you chose something else than staff at first, then it is ok as well,
You can try a dps in parallel to the plan above to get to know and really enjoy the game to the utmost!

If I'm making a new character, should I have them repeat the MQ or should I have them on full free roam? (I am aware of the advantages and disadvantages of both sides)
Prioritise free roam first, in a level where u cannot lvl by roam, use exp from mainquest

Restart MQ, then start leveling at Nisel even though it poisons you?
@@4GRJ if nisel, you complete the mq at there first then go lvl at there later xD
I prefer mq because it's easier and you can LVL up fast and you can also skip dialogues which makes it 2× easier. Because of that I was able to reach lvl 150 in just one day. Lvling guides are easy but the problem is finding the right party to help you
I started as katana and i used every katana i can find and since i didnt have guild that time i always bought mercenary with spina xd.

I didn't know what level to challenge the bosses or how to lvl up quick but now I do 👍
Additional tip:
When doing main quest for easy EXP stop @Venena 1, then
> Buy char slot as many as you can (default char slot is 3) with orbs obtained from events, campaign daily login stamps etc.
> Create new char and set the main quest as latest
By doing this all new char will start MQ @Venena 1, so you don't have to doing MQ from start for easy EXP
Amother tip, add friend random characters on Sofya or better yet join any guild and hire characters as mer enaries 😉

i finished my mq at day 3. and I reach lv 145 including a bit boosting from 57 to 70

Yeah I’m starting new again too. Have played off and on for like 2 years I want to say. All my characters are weak. I try to follow build tutorials for a farmer or whatever. But the people showing their build for you to follow they assume you have completed main quest lvl 150. And have the spina to spend on lvl 4 skills much less equipment. So trying to follow a build tutorial like that is often frustrating because I don’t have the lvl 4 skill used as the main skill. Anyway I appreciate this video and are following along to make a mage that can fight bosses, farm some and maybe even do some smithing tech or crafting too. Not sure which I’m going to go for yet. :)

The issue is only mage is viable without spending a lot of spina which new players dont have P.S new players need to make spina farming is the first and most accessible way

The first time i play, 1k boss hp seems like a lot, and damage dealt was so low...now, 10m health boss is piece of cake
Well I started with sword and then got dual wield well I discovered mercenary system and well I just randomly add people in sofya as friends and got lvl 205 friends.well I reach higher level easily with that xD

Expected of you! I return again after a year in toram, forgot my account. Confuse on new features. My starter fails me so I made a mage... Suprise on Lukmage's evolution... Reach lvl 100 yesterday, by an outdated leveling guide. Now I stop leveling and targetted the diving event just to get some gears that good for a tanking partner

Hi, this question may or may not be a newbie but:
1) if im building my char (solo) as a Ohs+Shield(not tank) or 2HS, which type of armor should i use? (Light, Heavy or Normal)
2) if i were to use Light Armor should i use the Manual or Auto Dodge?
1. Depends on your build type. Usually 1h shield is recommended to use heavy, even 2h as well in the case if you are meteor 2h. However, 2h can use light armor if its glasscannon type (enchant 2h)
2. If you feel its hard to sue manual evasion, you can set auto first, then practice later ^^

I'm a katana user, so I just went for atk and dodge rate exp, Katana skills, Long range, and some support skills also, and just farms for coins and skill points...

Yeah 6 days if you are guided beginner. For a beginner who know nothing (like me 4 years ago, it took me almost months)

How to make your life higher as a mage? All my equip focuses on mana or MATK and I have light armor and a lot of skills to improve my dodging, should I enhance the survival skill for HP+ or the VIT stat?
Imm sub to this guy, i just started playing yesterday and i have no idea how to get good weapons and gears lol, is it ok to get good weapons even if i just started? Or should i focus on leveling first?
You focus on leveling first, 1 month later there will be new equip set released ^^/ u can get them at that moment
