Nana ji good to see you after long time.
I hope no one has to go through such hardship in life ever. I hope these kind of stories will give people sense of what life can look like without peace and harmony.
Really sad stories from both sides and whatever has happened shouldn't have happened.
I pray our future generations (both in India and Pakistan) learn to maintain good relations with each other.
There will always be differences between religions/nations but the key is to respect each other despite having these differences.

I too stay near to dera bassi. It may be chandimandir and not chandigarh as being stated by the aged gentleman because chandigarh was not in existence that time. Nearly ten lakh people killed that time due to greed of p.m. mursi read nehru and jinnah, so there are thousands of painful stories like this one.
