Ha ha! I know that you know what this really is. For the benefit of those who may not know what the 1888 is, it is a Limited Edition Super Stock model that Charvel made only in 2018. It is an homage to the Charvel Model 88, which was made in Japan between 88-89. I see your Sweet Cheetah demo and raise you a cassette tape I possess recorded in Tom's living room in 1985. There's some banter between Tom, Karen, and myself. Tom sings some Judas Priest, Van Halen, and Led Zeppelin. You arrive and we talk about your Hondo guitar. Then Jeff arrives with his Peavey T-40 bass. It is an amazing document of early/mid 80s adolescent rock & roll culture.
