I can't tell you how refreshing it is to have two cartoon leads be a boy and a girl and be best friends and not even show a single ounce or romantic tension! It will be incredibly unlikely they will end up as a couple and that's just so awesome to see.

This show has so much potential and proves it’s worth constantly. The stories are solid, the pop culture references are funny, and the characters are SO endearing and fun. Even Mitch, who got one (technically two) episodes devoted to him in the 2nd season. Glitch Techs makes even the worst characters (by design not practice) likable. Hell, even Phil, the pseudo-workaholic boss has some background. Ironic because he’s a background character. I hope this show continues, and having season 2 come out during one of society’s worst years is proof that the show can endure a lot. Here’s for season 3! (Or season 1C/2, or whatever) 🌟 🎮
i don't think that phil is a background check, atleast not anymore, with the ending of season 2, you can see that there more to phil than just the boss that hates his work(not in personality, there is a lot of personality in phil, but as in character relevance to the story) there's probably something that has to do with glitches in human form(the ending of the finding the glitch episode) and they don't want phil to know so they are wiping his memories

Gotta say how much I appreciate this take on our show! The show does take place during the summer. I'm really glad that High Five And Miko have a platonic relationship. You don't see enough of boy girl friendships that stay just friends. They almost always end up together or have some sort of large portion of fans that constantly demand they be together. It's a nice change and the media needs more platonic examples of healthy friendships.
Seeing Five, Zarha and Bergy nerdout over a old computer in storyboard animation gives me joy. Like, they're group of tech savvy teens! (I also love Five and Bergy's dynamic of being lanky nerds who got each other's back.)

Well that's what I thought about Ron and Kim's(kim possible) relationship and look how that turned out. There is nothing wrong with the classic guy&girl bestfriend who end up falling for each other, it all depends on how one tells their story. The problem is when fans try to FORCE a relationship between characters but when they are well written it feels natural. Five genuinely seems flattered by Zahra clone's compliment and nervous when made to grab her waist . I think Five crushing on or even just spending time with other girls will cause normally childish immature Miko to face feelings and emotions she ether suppressed or didn't know she had regarding Five i.e again Kim's relationship with Ron . I think there's a scientific term for people who are very good friends that end up falling in love, I don't know it off the top of my head, but it is exactly like what happened with Kim and Ron.

Tbh I have seen this dynamic before. I think someone already said it but for Kim Possible. The show solidified imo for me that their friendship saved lives. And I thought they'd stay that way. Example is in the Stitch in time movie. But then they turned it around in the final season. XD I still like both shows regardless of shipping tho. Even tho I ship Five x Miko. It's just so adorable imo. But for some reason this show might not get popular enough. Not because there is no canon ship but because Netflix sucks at advertisment. But I can confirm that the creator won't be bringing in canon into the show. Still that's good cause we get more shipping material imo. I personally like making stories up for myself with what's given. That's the fun part of being a fan of the shipping part for me lol. But I won't deny loving to gush if it becomes canon. XD I know people want to see more friendship stories and that's fine, but I never understand why shipping became the focus to many producers and showrunners. Not saying it’s a bad thing for guy and gal best friends to end up together in the end, but I will admit it’s getting very irritating and boring. Like it’s been over used and it’s so predictable. It’s just refreshing seeing two best friends care for each other without wanting to make out. It shows that it is very possible to have friends of the opposite sex without there being anything going on between the two.

As a Muslim teen, i love seeing Zahra in Glitch Techs! Although i’m not hijabi myself, i know lots of people in my life who are and it’s great seeing someone who hits close to home in media, let alone a cartoon! I hope we see more in the future

While I do like the idea of Miko and Five becoming a couple just do to being a sucker for romance, I would be just as satisfied if they stayed best friends, there both cute together either way. But if the team did deicide to pair them together I'm sure it would be in a wholesome and non-toxic way. A good example being Steven x Connie.
Oh man, I love Glitch Techs! But if you want another show with a healthy boy/girl friendship that doesn't result in a relationship, I'd recommend Summer Camp Island. The main character, Oscar, is best friends with a girl named Hedgehog. The two clearly care for each other a lot and treat each other like siblings without it ever being romantic. They say "I love you" to each other often, but it's totally normalized and never framed in a romantic context. I absolutely adore them promoting healthy friendships like this and saying you can love a friend without it being inherently romantic. Anyways, love your videos, have a cool day!
The fact that Miko and Five are just best friends (and seem to be staying that way) is one of my favorite parts of the show. It makes a story more interesting when the main characters aren't in love(for me at least). Starco had ruined SVTFOE for me, and I don't want that to happen to another show I love. While there are variety I feel like they basically put certain minorities in the background like Zara who is a Muslim girl who has had a couple speaking lines and certain scenes she's not a Maine recurring character and I feel like she's totally underused in the series as a focus more on high five and Miko who are Hispanic and Asian and there's more focus on mixed with African-American which is not a bad thing but I feel like they are missing an opportunity to bring more Muslim characters in to Western animation as stomach Miss Marvel and sand are Comic characters and one is getting her own Disney plus series I feel like I should be more main Muslim characters in Western animation
I'm in love with this show. It is a fun action-packed episodic series that definitely deserves more attention. I love the video game references, the smooth and colorful animation and designs, anime influences, and likable nature of each character with BITT, Bergy and Zarah being my favorites. As for who or if Miko ends up with someone- there's no clear winner here. There is zero indication that Miko is romantically or sexually attracted to anyone! And does there have to be? I really love your explanation of the relationships in the show. (Despite the fact that I do ship Miko and Five) It is refreshing to see make and female protagonists being comfortable with each other. All touchy feely without romantic feelings toward each other. This is exactly how I write my characters, while romantic feelings are nothing new, I just feel like it’s done too much so it’s nice to see planotic besties every now and then. It gives me hope not only for the glitch fandom but for other fandoms too.
To be fair, they’re 16. I know of many couple who knew each other for years and only got together in their early twenties. No matter what anyone says or who ends up with who by series end, Miko x Five will always be a possibility. Zahra x Five could be the thing, but they could just as easily break up in a few year. Cuz you know, who actually marries someone from a teen relationship?
I really feel that having the main characters be boy and girl yet be best friends is something I haven't seen in a while and I find it wholesome. I think their friendship is awesome.

As a Muslim teen, i love seeing Zahra in Glitch Techs! Although i’m not hijabi myself, i know lots of people in my life who are and it’s great seeing someone who hits close to home in media, let alone a cartoon! I hope we see more in the future

While I do like the idea of Miko and Five becoming a couple just do to being a sucker for romance, I would be just as satisfied if they stayed best friends, there both cute together either way. But if the team did deicide to pair them together I'm sure it would be in a wholesome and non-toxic way. A good example being Steven x Connie.
Oh man, I love Glitch Techs! But if you want another show with a healthy boy/girl friendship that doesn't result in a relationship, I'd recommend Summer Camp Island. The main character, Oscar, is best friends with a girl named Hedgehog. The two clearly care for each other a lot and treat each other like siblings without it ever being romantic. They say "I love you" to each other often, but it's totally normalized and never framed in a romantic context. I absolutely adore them promoting healthy friendships like this and saying you can love a friend without it being inherently romantic. Anyways, love your videos, have a cool day!
The fact that Miko and Five are just best friends (and seem to be staying that way) is one of my favorite parts of the show. It makes a story more interesting when the main characters aren't in love(for me at least). Starco had ruined SVTFOE for me, and I don't want that to happen to another show I love.

This is why I love Glitch tech! I'm not a gamer, but somewhat a nerd but what I what I like most about this show is the characters and their relationship! Diversity like dang, it's so natural. Also I've longing for boygirl platonic cause I'm so bored if them being romantic cause "i know you the best" like bish, no. Also Mitch, season 1 I'm like: Get out and don't ever show your face again! Then season 2 : Okay, your arrogance does come with proof but you still an a-hole. After the hair change and backstory: I may or may not into these kind of characters😂

this show manages to do the "dork gamer" stereotype without making me keel over and die from cringe everytime they crack a joke, and i instead laugh actually.
Yeah, it’s very unusual to see a male and female character be so soft with each other and hug each other so much and yet be totally just bros. It’s very beautiful! I think the only character in the show who has ever wondered if they were a couple is Zahra.
The huggy friendships are really common in my area. No matter the gender.
It's pretty healthy here.

While there are variety I feel like they basically put certain minorities in the background like Zara who is a Muslim girl who has had a couple speaking lines and certain scenes she's not a Maine recurring character and I feel like she's totally underused in the series as a focus more on high five and Miko who are Hispanic and Asian and there's more focus on mixed with African-American which is not a bad thing but I feel like they are missing an opportunity to bring more Muslim characters in to Western animation as stomach Miss Marvel and sand are Comic characters and one is getting her own Disney plus series I feel like I should be more main Muslim characters in Western animation

I'm in love with this show. It is a fun action-packed episodic series that definitely deserves more attention. I love the video game references, the smooth and colorful animation and designs, anime influences, and likable nature of each character with BITT, Bergy and Zarah being my favorites. Lastly, I also like the diversity as this is what a racially diverse show truly looks like, where almost each character is a different race or ethnicity, and hopefully we'll see some unique interracial relationships if the show does any romances.

This show is MASSIVELY slept on it’s pretty crazy, I love the writing and animation, the awesome ides they explore in this series, and the fact that they just took this random concept and ran with it, it’s up there on my favorite tv shows with gravity falls, I love this series and can’t wait for the next season

@@KashaLupul you're jab makes zero sense. Show me at any point in Glitch Techs where Miko and Five act other than siblings. They're relationship is clearly not romantic. You don't have to force a relationship where one doesn't exist. Zahra has expressed feelings for Five and we've seen stuff that happens on camera.
As for who or if Miko ends up with someone- there's no clear winner here. There is zero indication that Miko is romantically or sexually attracted to anyone! And does there have to be? Maybe she'll find a true love next season - who knows and who cares.

Honestly I never enjoyed the sketchy business that Hanobi does like one thing their technology causes glitches and monster to cause havoc and they are underage teenagers to just destroy property and wipe people's memory of the fact that it was their product that they don't get sued by the people also they have been misusing their mind wiping technology as evident by Mitch plus there's certain characters that are totally under using the series like Zara the only Muslim character in the series 2 I feel like should have been the main character other than the hyperactive annoying Miko and the lane lackluster that is high five who called cancel that instead of his real name

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who doesn't ship Miko and Five. I really love their friendship and believe it should stay that way. I'm here for Zahra and Five because in the episode "BROS" Five actually seemed kind of nervous around Zahra. Miko and Five don't have any chemistry unless you count them touching each other? Which is pretty normal honestly. I'm not sure who I ship Miko with but #ZahraandFive all the way!

I really love your explanation of the relationships in the show. (Despite the fact that I do ship Miko and Five) It is refreshing to see make and female protagonists being comfortable with each other. All touchy feely without romantic feelings toward each other. This is exactly how I write my characters, while romantic feelings are nothing new, I just feel like it’s done too much so it’s nice to see planotic besties every now and then. It gives me hope not only for the glitch fandom but for other fandoms too.

To be fair, they’re 16. I know of many couple who knew each other for years and only got together in their early twenties. No matter what anyone says or who ends up with who by series end, Miko x Five will always be a possibility. Zahra x Five could be the thing, but they could just as easily break up in a few year.
