I think people would love a full (30min +) interview with Zack on his work, his knowledge of motorcycles, repairing them, differences between manufacturers etc. Sounds like the guy has a lot of stories to tell. Awesome video Ib!
On a previous video, Zack said something about the R1 that I can relate to 100%. He said that the R1 was a very nice bike for the track but not a pleasant machine for the street. Too tall a first gear, lots of unbearable heat and a tall and stiff ride. I owned a 2014 R1 and I sold it just for those reasons.

Just installed one of these on my 2021. For the haters, yes the default license plate angle is tough to see, but it's easily bent into a much more visible and reasonable angle.

Love the channel ib but that license plate bracket with the exposed wire is a no go. Get something else that has a cleaner look. That bracket just looks messy.
I had that fender eliminator on my 2018 R6 but then I got a ticket for $1000 in Miami Beach because the cop said my plate was hidden and he couldn’t read it 🙄 Im still waiting to go to court. Another cop told me just fix it where anybody is able to see it from a car and you’re good
$1000 for an unreadable plate? WTF? Mind you, this one on this R1 is at such an angle that if I was a cop, I would definitely not be happy about it.
Def get a ticket for that plate down here in the south looks good though

License Plate Bracket with flush turn signals looks good, except for the exposed wire!
Not a fan of intergrated turn signals,too early 2000's style.I would only change the OEM turn signals unless it's aesthetically necessary.Otherwise the stock equipment is okay for me.

Why install the integrated tail light and the turn signals? Why not just install the aftermarket turn signals/license plate?

Looking awesome so far, this built should have matte carbon and/or matte fairings. not all fully gloss like the S1000RR, nothing wrong with gloss color just figure this bike will look amazing on matte

@@vanquangphuong379 motors are 1:1 just steel vs titanium. Steel makes more torque. People say the s isnt as fast but i have dyno sheets saying the s builds power faster lol. Its quite funny to be honest.

Do not buy MV notorious for snapping valve guides my 2017
F3 800 RC snapped one within 600 miles motor was replaced under warranty but due to the fact that such incident repeated itself with other owners after replacing motors i sold my bike thru the dealership and lost some major coin 6K to be exact .You are better off with S1000RR way more dependable bike or the Aprilia RSV4 a lovely Italian beast with well know record .This R1M build will be a major Superbike support this build you never know might end up winning it 😊

I wont recommend having the rear light integrated blinkers on, very hard to tell which way you want to go, also the blinkers for the fender kit is way to close to each other, theres a law that they must be a set minimum from each other atleast.. Highly recommend not doing like in this vid.
Also having the plate at that angle does look good, but is not legal as the plate is not clear and visible if driving behind the bike.
This guy seems like a great mechanic, but his soldering skills leave alittle to be desired. And yes, there is a way to solder those wires in a way that you could use heatshrink.
In the event you can't use shrinkwrap (some other situation), you can coat the connections with silicone conformal coating ( at least three coats) before wrapping in electrical tape.

You put the shrink tube first. then Soldering the wires together then it would work I always put shrink tube on my wires works all the time Zack should know this 😁 that electric tape don't work as good as shrink tube dose

@@SuperDixxxie he didn't use shrink tubing on the wires he said electric tape is good enough 👎. You put shrink tubing on first then solder the wires then you slid the shrink tubing over the solder wires then use a heat gun to shrink it so easy. I was going to try to win but not now shady work in my opinion
@@moparman5741 I'll say again, go back and watch from about 07:35. But i'll spell it out, he solders the end of a wire which he's cut to the middle of a wire he hasn't cut! Don't miss out on winning the bike just because you missed that bit :-)
Buddy, he couldn't use the shrink tube because the main wire was not cut, it was just exposed enough so that he could solder the other wire. Zack is a master mechanic and wouldn't do silly mistakes.
@@samsays-everythingtech315 electric tape is not better than shrink tubing the tape will go bad shrink tubing will never go bad. He could have used shrink tubing cut the wire and solder them together how hard is that
