Carowinds really needs to bring back a water ride or 2 😊
My wife and I rode this before it closed. Honestly the whole time we were in line I was telling her how fun it was going to be. How we'd get drenched and how the wait in line would be worth it. This wasn't based on me riding it before, but on me riding a similar ride at Kennywood park where you were guaranteed to get soaked with water. So we get on this ride at Carowinds and my wife, myself and the other two riders got hardly any water on us during the whole ride. Maybe a pant leg, and the side of my hip. It seemed like they had a few of the waterfalls even turned off. Maybe this ride was fun once but when we rode it the best part about the ride was talking to the two other passengers. Our experience was a disappointment and honestly I'm not shocked they removed it from the park. I would have rathered they improved it than removed it though.
I rode this ride for the first and last time in 2018, right before it was closed. It was SUPER fun and refreshing since it was summer and really hot but the line was like 2 hours but I just wish I got to ride it more.
Man i have ridden that ride so many times as a kid. I used to go to Carowinds like everyday growing up. Great video my friend. I subbed to you.

These kinds of rides are fun but part of me dreads getting drenched with water!
When this ride was built people waited for hours and hours to ride it.

Super weird watching now. Rode it ages ago and this year at Scarowinds the bridge that used to act as the entrance/exit is used as a scare maze and like the old signs are still up, as well as an old tv and speaker, and even the mechanical bits of the ride are still there! Super cool to see but sad too
