Im 58 kg when im deadlift 70kg and pulling the slack the plate doesnt float but im maintaining tension in the bar as im wedging is that fine?
100%, the plate floating isn’t a direct indicator of whether the slack pull and wedge was done correctly. It can act as an indicator but not always. Especially with the slack pull we don’t often see the float there but rather at the wedge
