For anyone else trying to hunt down items last minute before the fight: "Light Curtain" is the single use item to give reflect, you wont find a lunar curtain
I think DRK no longer needs Manawall if you equip the lost elixir, it does mean no pot opener cause they share a timer but you can use LD without death.
The schadenfreude when they try to cheese but step on a mine is only beaten by the schadenfreude when they try to cheese but forget reflect/dispel and die right at the start
@@serpensviktorijewiczvonarm1011 Saw that so many times already it's hilarious nothing against people who cheese the fights but, that just proofs that this people wouldn't even have a slight chance of doing the fight "the normal way". Also saw some people losing the fights in Bozja Southern Front cause they can't even survive 1 mechanic (while cheesing) pretty funny to watch.
@@mrlullipop1783 To be fair, failing the first mechanic while doling the cheese can be very easy to do with how frontloaded the fight becomes. Rapidly swapping between lost actions and using potions/buffs in the short window before the first one drops off takes focus and it can be easy to miss something like dropping the reflect right near the start. Not to mention the general duel anxiety that people will get, knowing that if you fuck it up you might have to spend hours grinding Notoriety to even get a second chance.
@@mrlullipop1783 well tbh with you, I LOVE challenges like these but the way are designed here is just wrong, that's the main reason i'll be cheeseing all of them. The fight is hard, and every mistake is punished with death pretty much, which means hundreds of hours of grinding notoriety just to get a second chance to prog it. And if some shit happens, well, you die and repeat, over and over, over and over. They should have made these duels a spammable content which I can focus in, delve in, and prog on my own. Instead, they made it so long and time consuming to even get a chance to duel that i don't feel any regret in cheesing them. Square Enix should have learned how WoW made the Mage Tower in Legion, THAT was an AWESOME challenging experience in solo

Great video, one comment, it took me way too long to see that when he loads the ammo for gunbard its the previouse enemy casting bar which indicates which ammo he is loading, same as when combine with other attacks like giga, only after i knew what to watch out for did i see the end of the cast of windslicer. Aka would have been nice if you would have played the additional 2-3 sec before, just so even idiots like me can see it easy and not the just the after effect. Its a minor grip, but i was just so confused for a while trying to understand how you know which ammo it is.
I got selected for a duel for this in late night Bozja with like 12 other people watching. My first duel ever and I got destroyed by the four laser turrets doing 50000% of my max health, right at the beginning. Absolutely embarrassing
@@shellbrook3383 Bozja is the relic weapon area for Shadowbringers. You'll need to have done the Return to Ivalice (the Stormblood 24-man) raids before you can access it, because it's a continuation of that storyline.
