The Field Operation is gonna make or break this expac imo. As things are right now, everything in DT is either braindead easy or closer to hardcore content in the sense that it requires a hardcore commitment to queueing it in PF or hardcore difficulty or both. Having something you can just go into and play without waiting for other players but easily group up with others if they're there is soooo necessary to the health of the game.
This is an interesting sentiment because if that were the case, wouldn't that have happened last expansion then, except that we didn't even get a field operation, we just got island sanctuary which some people did enjoy to the end or dropped after a week or 2. Meanwhile we got back to back raid content up to 6.4 with an ultimate raid between each of the normal raid tier releases.
I am hoping that Crescent Isle is Eureka 2.0 but without the annoying as Bot Fish mechanics, or Bozja 2.0 with Eureka plotline. As I am starting FFV Pixel Remaster, I am very eager to see how this goes. :)
@@RockR277 We say that its just starting to boil over, but lets be real, shits always boiling and you know what we do, we fill it up with more water, why? This .2 patch will be very important for public perception. I'm not one of the mindless doomers who constantly complain about anything, but as a non-high end player myself, the game is pretty barebones right now because EW was my catch-up expansion where I did the old relics, various farms and side quests. There wasn't really a point for me to stay subbed after .1, tbh. I know the fun grindy content I will spend countless hours in will come, it just needs to actually be good and follow the excellent combat design DT had so far. Big copium that they will rethink expansion timeline and content release schedule for 8.0 but i doubt it...
THE ISSUE IS EW LACK MIDCORE CONTENT BUT DT LACK CASUAL AND MIDCORE CONTENT AND IF 7.2 IS TO BE BELIEVED IT WILL BE ONLY ADDING MORE MIDCORE CONTENT WITH SOME UNVIERSAL CONTENT(CONTENT FOR ALL AKA COSMIC EXPLORATION)
Live letter is Feb 7th, usually right before the Moogle Treasure Trove evens that start 4 weeks before the release of a major patch. So the event will likely be either Feb 11th or 18th with the patch release 4 weeks later.
Between Mr. Ozma doing interviews with media outlets and this, they've set my expectations for some raids that are pretty different from the norm. Talking about having to lose damage, mr. ozma specifically referencing the A5 mechanic where you turn into a gorilla, I'm pretty excited. Hoping they deliver and also ignore players that get mad because they can't parse.
Cresent Island is coming in about 2 months from now (maybe 7.21?) since Yoshi-P hinted that during the live stream yesterday. He said to Mr. Sakaguchi like "Oh, I can easily imagine that you will be enjoying it in 2 months." But Cosmic Exploration is probably coming later than that.
Well they skipped MSQ ultimate for Stormblood... After Shadowbringers would be an Endwalker ultimate, which there's no way they would so soon. Unless they do an ultimate for something other than MSQ or raid bosses
What I'm hoping for is for YoshiP to address the complaints about the game in the Live Letter. Not saying he necessarily needs to have specific answers or time and date solutions, but I just want him to actually come forward and admit that there are a lot of people who just aren't happy with things right now. The more concrete responses the better, of course, but the biggest issue is just seeing to be completely blind and deaf while continuing "as usual."
@@fredy2041 What part do you think is hyperbolic? The part where majority of the player base is not happy with the game? Cause you are delulu if you think that way. In every level of players you can find huge chunk that are unhappy... The stalker plugin, the fact that casuals have nothing to do for 6 months cause we had to squeeze in another high end content after savage and ultimate. The fact that sprouts who were allocated to "new" servers are literally playing in ghost towns? The game is bleeding from all directions. There is nothing hyperbolic about the statement.
people are unhappy because they either follow drama peddling content creators, or if they're reasonable, they just want more casual content, which is what's going to be coming. They're not blind or deaf, its just the thing that people want isn't here yet. I do think that casual endgames should be out sooner, but not much they can actually do about that now. frankly I'm expecting people to move the goal posts when that content is out. People didn't like Bozja or Eureka because they hated having content they felt "forced" into doing and I expect that sentiment to come around the instant the new exploration zone is available
@ Exacly Envi! Which makes so dificulty trust, specualy after so many "dt made me unsub" beacuse thats what people do right? coming to youtube and posting that they are unsubbing, instead of just unsibbing
Why would they do that? To placate reddit and the forums? People who are going to quit aren’t going to be swayed in the opposite direction by: “oh yeah we know this is a problem, no timeline on fixing it though. Just letting you know we know.” Literally no other successful mmo developer does that. They just shut the fuck up and drop a fix one day. Or they don’t.
In TOP, P3 Hello World is the best and most satisfying mechanic in the whole fight, due to it being more intuitive and less about looking at a debuff. You look once at the start of the mechanic which one is Defamation, from there on out it's just motions and looking at players in the arena.
Why wait this long to release all this longform content? Instead of releasing it all at the same time, Cosmic Explorations should've come in 7.1.5 imo.
Me personally, I like to have content released when its ready, not for the sake of filling some kind of 'void'. If Cosmic Exploration wasn't ready in patch 7.1.5, then it just wasn't ready.
The most probable reason is it wasn't ready yet, or working right yet. No other reason for one patch to be so thin while the next introduces all the big side content at once
@kingdomheartsguy44 Because it probably isn’t ready? Would you want half-assed unfinished content to satiate your craving for content? Or actual good content for those who can patiently wait?
Since it is gathering/crafting related, no. If it is anywhere near as grindy as Ishgard Restoration, aka Diadem, then hell no. Field Operations is where it's at. That Bermuda Triangle better be good.
no becuase both arent casual content and casual content is what keep ew alive (even if midcore disabled players dont believe it ) feild ops is midcore content and crafting content that rewards midmax isnt focused on causals but it universal so unless you really want rewards from crafting you as casuals have nothing to do AGAIN with already existing content being ruined this expantion.
been looking forward to this patch, the x.1 patches never tend to be that good content wise. it's the x.2 patches where things start getting good. on top of that I'm really looking forward to seeing where the MSQ goes after how 7.1 ended.
Crescent island is an interesting choice. If I'm remembering correctly the ruins beneath the water on crescent island is where you get the airship in 5, and the ruins are specifically referred to as Rohnkan ruins. Next ultimate, we thinking weapons or four lords
I do not want them to skip Four Lords. The potential is too great to waste it. The mechanics in Extreme were already top notch, in my opinion. Imagine Four Lords EX but faster movements, with mechanics overlapping. Can be made into a really great Ultimate.
@yep8058 I actually didn't do any of the four lords ex. I started stormblood hard, then lost internet before 4.1, so after that I didn't bother getting back info it for a long while.
Well you see the problem with that prediction, is they’ve skipped the MSQ related one from Stormblood which means we’re obviously getting Zenos Ultimate
@@XIII5 every prediction is gonna have it's problems because they also skipped the warring triad and the four lords and haven't shown any signs of going backwards. Admittedly the four lords was a hail Mary guess, but you never know. The LIKELY one is the weapons, imo. Also, I feel like Zeno will be in the endwalker ultimate. It'll be like Zeno, Shinryu, Fandaniel, Zodiark, MAYBE Tsukiyomi and/or Hydaelyn.
Dawntrail's fights have been top notch in my opinion. The only big thing I want from the game, albeit I realize it won't be any time soon, is to make all the jobs more engaging to play. Allow for skill expression. I hate how prescriptive the jobs have become.
Thats next expac. This expac was specifically around improving fight design and rewards, both of which have been successful so far, so I am very excited for the next expac since its job focused (though I am currently not upset with the current jobs, I have always never had any real issues with them not matter which expac it was, I always find the ones I like fun).
I really want the next Ultimate to drop in 7.5 and be Shadowbringers MSQ. They can't skip it, the game hit its big stride in Shadowbringers and a lot of that was from how good the MSQ was
Dudeeee I was so hyped when I seen Mountain Fire for the first time as a tank. That was such a wicked TB that had me pumped for future tank mechs... So far DT only pumped me full of disappointment D:
when it comes to downtime i hope it's downtime as go away to do mechanic and not downtime as stay and watch as boss is untargettable. I hope bosses will not go untargettable at all and you'll just be forced to go away to do sth instead (like Honey's defamations for example are good design)
good design is to create mechanics that you have to solve to find a way to maintain uptime. there is nothing good about forcing you to not play the game. even if you're doing mechanics.
My main concern, as usual, is about job balance. I'm a smn main and swap to mch when I want to shake it up. Needless to say, I've been very disappointed this expansion
Support jobs? Are they maybe adding subjobs as an expanded form of duty actions? Perhaps instead of a action box, we unlock those actions by growing/levelling our subjob? I wonder how feasible that could be. I am fairly intrigued.
I wish they'd add job customization with swappable optional actions. That way if some people don't like a particular action they can just add an alternate action you can use instead, and that way everyone is happy. I want Spineshatter dive back too.
So much good will hinges on this .2 patch compared to ever before. Casuals and raiders are at their breaking point, and if you check on theyre socials most of them dont even trust the game team anymore when it comes to making proper content. Only group that has a majority happy is new players but thats mostly because they havent been chewing on the same meat/content since shadowbringers.
They litelary have no veteran devs working on the game aside from raid designers. Writer,UI/UX designer, gear designer and many that we used to see their face on irl events are gone and either working on XVI or supposed XVII.
Respectfully, what the fuck are you talking about? 😂 I raid and I've been loving the content lately, the game has been a blast. Stop doomposting like the entire entrenched community hates the game, you're just as annoying as content creators who continue to put out those "WhAt HaPpEnEd WiTh DaWnTrAiL?? Game DEAD!?" videos.
@@renarenacat What are you talking about, we had an interview with a 10-year veteran UI lead just 1 month ago, and numerous writers are still there in the 7.0 credits Like, you can check those things on the internet and in the game man, don't lie like that

Every cosmic exploration game has been a disaster. No mans sky on release. Starfield. Plus, what will it be? Island sanctuary but on massively pointless time wastey barren empty landscapes? The thing with planets is that theres nothing there. And FFxivs gathering is nothing but walking between gathering points, clicking on them, and watching a loading bar. You really think theyre going to do anything new and original *now*? In intermediate patches? With side gimmick content thatll be dead in 3 months and forgotten to rot in the dirt like always? Then theyll move onto the next gimmick minigame.

I can only hope they don't tie the relic progression EXCLUSIVELY to the field operation. I despised Eureka and Bozja and (barring ridiculous nerfs to the content) will likely never have those relics cause they just aren't fun for me. I don't mind if relic progression is possible via field operation content, I just don't want it to be the ONLY method of progression. I also don't want a bait and switch situation like Bozja where you were able to do part of the relic outside of Bozja but then got cockblocked a few steps in by having no alternative but Bozja content to progress it.
Honestly, reading all the comments that have zero understanding of how game development works, espcially on time and resource heavy content like field and exploration, used to be sad. Now its just funny because ever video these people are out here making themselves look like self-entitled idiots with theirs comments.
I wonder if they will follow through on that claim of job balance in 7.2. Alot can be solved with potency adjustments but maybe they will try some soft reworks. Take another swing a BLM please, maybe a swing back to how it was in EW.
There wasn't really any concrete proof that reworks would start from .2 aside from sketchy translations and copium interpretations of YoshiP's words, but I hope that as well. We know for sure 8.0 will have more "job identity" or at least that's the plan, but they might need to ease people into it a little for some jobs. I don't hate BLM now but I do agree it was more fun in Endwalker...
Idk man, smn needs a little more than potency adjustments just to go back to Endwalker performance. Dying at an inopportune time completely ruins your 4 minute rotation for the rest of the fight. And I know the argument is "EVERY job gets messed up from dying!" but Demi Summons can't just be withheld to line up the rotation without dropping to doing worse damage than the healers. Their only options are to completely nuke their dps or use their strongest summon on odd minute bursts. The design is genuinely garbage rn, and can be fixed with just a few changes that they don't want to do
Can't wait for the next round of clickbait doomerism when everyone burns through Crescent in a week and complains there's nothing to do and it's a dead game.
I'll be real DT really isn't that bad and I even took breaks during 'peak' ff14. People set their expectations so high with ff14 and it really shows. I knew it wasn't going to be absolute cinema with the story, but I wasn't that offended over it and I didn't act like Wuk Lamat was stage 4 cancer like some content creators did. It had moments for me that I enjoyed and honestly that's enough for me to be invested even in the first part helping Wuk Lamat. I didn't set my expectations to the moon and I was satisfied enough with the story. Did I want more? Did I want better writing? Yes, but I am not gonna stop playing it because of that. I just take breaks because every mmo gets boring and tedious at a certain point. I have this expansion as one of my least favorites but most people wouldn't like my rankings(HW ranking lower than SB). I will most likely take multiple breaks from the game since no expansion has ever had me playing everyday after I caught up to the story. I just wanna see all the content before judging DT fully. I do wish they released more things in .1 patches because I like having things to do. Still I am logging in recently to resolve goals and hang out with my friends and fc. So for now I am enjoying the game like I usually do when I am active and it felt the same when I was doing EW and ShB.
My problem is that there is only 'four lights.' SE DT told me say there's only 'three lights' and anything else is akin to "bullying," and I said, "NO it's NOT!" Hopefully they can figure out they never had the privilege/rights to demand that from me before they finally go bankrupt.
@ All the content isn't out and I am not making wide statements like the game is dead or casuals have nothing to do. I'm casual and it doesn't feel any different than any other time from what I experienced.
@@saberix69then you didnt play ew. Ew casual content was good the dung relaxing and not difficult unlike chaotic and annjoying ones , ew was focused on casusl too dt isnt .
Personally I hope they simmer it down with that kind of content. It's really unpopular for many reasons. I'd be fine with just one or two Variant/Criterions per expansion to farm out, because it's frankly too repetitive and uninteresting if you're going in as Completionist.
Variant is a fun vibe to run with friends and work on it as a sort of project over a few play sessions Criterion is just an absolute mess that only a tiny subsection of hardcores do, I don't think I even know a single person who's bothered with Criterion and Criterion Savage
I think setting up the exploration zone and the new restoration as the main form of casual content is setting up some players for disappointment. Those pieces of content are something some people like but definitely not for everyone. They're really riding a lot on this content being what gets casual players out of their MSQ funk since they've been treating raiders well with chaotic and savage and ultimate, but haven't made a particularly well rounded expansion yet.
The mindset that we cant have an ultimate and exploration zone coming out at the same time is very strange to me... "yeah, you can buy this expansion but you wont be able to do anything for 6-7 months if you dont do raids, but please dont unsub"..... Make it make sense. I also dont get why savage is still locked to weekly limit... what is the point of that?
EXPLRATION ZONE ARE MIDCORE CONTENT NOT CASUAL. island santuary is casual ,gold saucer is casuals, varaint dung is some ally and normal raids are but nit feild ops they have to high punishment and the endpart is locked behind raids
oh joy. more ultimates. cant wait for more content that 95% of the playerbase doesnt engage with, and the 5% that do are constantly screaming about yet another cheating scandal, I for one, cannot wait for more of this quality dawntrail content.
Well even that will go down in the drain reading all the shit they want to change... They don't want to work more and innovate how the fight goes, they just remove indicators and make it artificially harder for no reason at all... They don't have any animation for 90%of the things ,most of the times if you can't read, you don't know what comes next.
Yeah imagine getting content in a game you pay monthly + expansion to play... i seriously dont fucking know what this so called casual players want from the game, a island where the content is clicking on rocks for hours? Combat content thats designed for 5 year olds and requires no brain usage even tho youre lv100 and supposedly hundreds of hours into the game? Go play vrchat or something seriously
You're not wrong, but 2 ultimates per expansion is the standard. If they went out of their way to make a THIRD ultimate is when I would start to question their priorities a bit
@cosmosofinfinity I don't care about Ultimates, even if they make 3... Problem is when you have nothing else in between for months , their formula is trash... They release content you can play long term after a year , and the only players who get anything in that time are raiders.... So what do you do when you finish with the raids? If they don't have the resources to do 2 ultimate in a way where you have other things to do between, than don't do it. I think there are more important things in the game than Ultimates is the game has no content for months after the expansion release.
Seems "very" early for another Ultimate in 7.3. Would rather they push beastmaster to earlier in the expac and do a .5 ultimate or something like that. The game always goes at least one patch without high-end raiding, no reason .3 can't be that one patch.
@@TotoTheBest91 I’m not certain you read what I said, all I’m saying is that turnaround feels short, not that it’s not consistent with what they’ve done before
Too be fair, I think they said they are trying to aim to make the seoncd Ultimates release in the x.3 patches to avoid another possible Dragonsong incident where something comes out of left field that massively effect the development and force then to delay it to the next x.1.
@@TotoTheBest91it midcore content how mental disabled are you to think it casual content i bet you one of the tryhard loser who thinks savage is midcore too.
Designing fights to have force downtime is the dumbest thing they can do. The fact that I heard people argue that that's a good thing left me flabbergasted
It absolutely can be, honestly FRU has opened my eyes a lot in that regard. I have nearly every button press planned out in p1->adds so everything lines up but p3 onward is just hitting stuff without much thinking/business as usual rotation; having downtime allows for more interesting planning of your rotation and can add depth beyond the mechanics, at least imo. Plus, you can only make mechanics difficult to a certain degree if there's full uptime; imagine Sigma now vs Sigma with full uptime. Important thing is that they're able to strike a balance, they shouldn't be afraid to create more difficult mechanics with full downtime (or even partial melee downtime) because people will cry over it but they shouldn't saturate encounters with them.
Forced downtime can force you to utilize cooldowns in specific ways that ensure better timings when bosses become available, and balance uptime mitigation tools against downtime ones. Its a bit of a scuffed conversation right now only because Picto benefits so much more than others with very little of this interaction. The point is that never having forced downtime, or never allowing it to enter your design space, effectively eliminates tons of design options, whether they be specific to a boss' theme or direct mechanical challenges.
No, they shouldn't. Stop repeating that someone that PAYS to play the game and loves the game needs to be FORCED to stop playing it. People should take breaks because they want to not because they are MADE to.
A lot of the people in these comments have never played an MMO with a mid expansion and it's really showing. Call me when a patch is only Twitter integration and a selfie camera.
With that logic don't complain about eating stale bread, cause "other people have worse" Let alone a side to side comparison just cause mmo is asenine. WoW and ff are quite defferent beasts (so is SE and Blizzard). 7.1 was quite low on content and a better spread of it would be more than welcome, ultimate and chaotic just go for a slice of players, the weekly delivery too. The Pelus was VERY bad, from min to max i have done like... 8 kind of quests and most of the time was give the lotion to thr alpachas, making it feel even further under developed Jueno was very hit and miss, people from 11 love it, who did not play it just feel weird and disjointed with the teleportation here and there
a MMO vet here. WoW SWTOR and FFXIV. WoW and FFXIV were my main ones. so let me say something WoW was really shyte at a few points where you got very little content like a raid and then bug fixes. i was in MoP back in the day and towards the butt end of the expac the only real content we got was the holiday stuff. we went 6+ months with out any real content and i was also raiding 3 days a week and an altaholic. i spent as much times on alts grinding mats for my main or for feasts and alchemy stuff for my raid team. i left in BFA (about 6.2ish) due to the treatment of sylvannas and the horde and alliance working together against bwsamdi. im glad i left then cause seeing how the "writers" if you could call them that didnt give her the proper death she deserved apart from sending ghost wisps up to the new tree. im feeling the current writing and story (MSQ) is getting close to that point for me.
@azsumgogo did they say that? No. What they said is, even what we're getting currently is still "eating good" as the kids say... or said... my lingo is a bit behind anymore. They're calling us spoiled, and they're right.

Calling it now, Wuk Lamat is getting Lyse'd by 7.3 given a good portion of the fanbase is basically getting as chernobyll-tier over her existence as people got with Lyse in Stormblood, maybe a bit more-so. And to be fair, given odds are 7.3 will likely be the obligatory "wrapping up loose ends final boss" moment, probably best to do it there before people call her the Poochie of FF14 even harder than they do now, along-side it being a lost cause with the english dub because the casting choice was gonna cause controversy no matter how they handled it. Also, I'm mainly waiting for them to FINALLY explain how Beastmaster is gonna work, since it feels like the big thing they are going to keep trying to avoid talking about as if worried about what it revealed. And of course, Arcadion content, because that's where the REAL fun is at imo with the post-expansion content.
In Stormblood I got sick of the idiots that were Allimighans not named, Fordola, Raubahn and Arenvald (barely). I got sick of that Japanese trope of hav8ng to hate the obvious bad guys because they were too sympathetic so the dig up the most batshit nuts guy to kill who is clearly either the exception or suffers from an actual mental disorder. Yet I'm supposed to cheer for people who were obviously terrible and should suffer more than they did ( God I loved it when Varis called people out). Wuk Lamat was too much of some jackass watch way too much One Piss for one half and too much "Spheeeeeeen" for the second half and we're gonna have more of that because there is two of them now. Love Arcadion though I think Wicked Thunder is a jackass (everyone is a jackass, but damn I love the commentary. My teenage prowrestling fan years).
The fact that people like Zepla chose to lick the boots of Asmon and take the same path did not really help too. Yes, the story was too slow. felt more disjointed than Ala migo and the east plotline of stormblood... Then too many dumbasses expected a new begin to top stuff like shadowbringer and endwalker .0
I don't find Wuk Lamat to be a great character and she's a bit annoying but, to be honest, the main reason I hope they write her out of the story is because the people complaining are now even more annoying. We have one mid expansion in over 5+ years and people act like the character murdered their families. I'm not going to particularly miss Wuk Lamat, but the insane overreaction is far more annoying than she could ever be.

I feel the same. To much focus on hard-core in 7.1
Live letter is Feb 7th, usually right before the Moogle Treasure Trove evens that start 4 weeks before the release of a major patch.
Mr. Ozma is doing the new raids? Oh they are going to suck. Cool. Good to know.
Cresent Island is coming in about 2 months from now (maybe 7.21?) since Yoshi-P hinted that during the live stream yesterday. He said to Mr. Sakaguchi like "Oh, I can easily imagine that you will be enjoying it in 2 months."
But Cosmic Exploration is probably coming later than that.
dam so not even the craftign aka universal content is on time man DT IS THE BIGGEST F YOU TO CASUALS EVER.
I am praying the next Ultimate is Shadowbringers MSQ. It would be odd if it skipped over it since it was so huge for FFXIV as an expac
The more concrete responses the better, of course, but the biggest issue is just seeing to be completely blind and deaf while continuing "as usual."
they are not gonna do that or at least not on the ment you want, also try to diference critics and real froms from just being hyperbolic
People who are going to quit aren’t going to be swayed in the opposite direction by:
“oh yeah we know this is a problem, no timeline on fixing it though. Just letting you know we know.”
Literally no other successful mmo developer does that. They just shut the fuck up and drop a fix one day. Or they don’t.
In TOP, P3 Hello World is the best and most satisfying mechanic in the whole fight, due to it being more intuitive and less about looking at a debuff.
You look once at the start of the mechanic which one is Defamation, from there on out it's just motions and looking at players in the arena.
imo TOP Hello World is the best iteration of that mechanic
@@yep8058 its the dumbed down iteration of hello world lmao, the original one is much better and harder
@@guifmurb "harder" does not make things better, for the millionth time lmao
Why wait this long to release all this longform content? Instead of releasing it all at the same time, Cosmic Explorations should've come in 7.1.5 imo.
Me personally, I like to have content released when its ready, not for the sake of filling some kind of 'void'. If Cosmic Exploration wasn't ready in patch 7.1.5, then it just wasn't ready.
The most probable reason is it wasn't ready yet, or working right yet. No other reason for one patch to be so thin while the next introduces all the big side content at once
release it now and then do notihng for 2 years
@kingdomheartsguy44 Because it probably isn’t ready? Would you want half-assed unfinished content to satiate your craving for content? Or actual good content for those who can patiently wait?
maybe so devs aren't put into a soul sucking 16 hour work day blender to get it all out
the real question is will the cosmic exploration and exploration zone be enough to win back the people that already unsubbed to the game
Since it is gathering/crafting related, no.
If it is anywhere near as grindy as Ishgard Restoration, aka Diadem, then hell no.
Field Operations is where it's at. That Bermuda Triangle better be good.
no becuase both arent casual content and casual content is what keep ew alive (even if midcore disabled players dont believe it ) feild ops is midcore content and crafting content that rewards midmax isnt focused on causals but it universal so unless you really want rewards from crafting you as casuals have nothing to do AGAIN with already existing content being ruined this expantion.
field op will decide whether or not a resub or stay unsubbed for the next 2 years
been looking forward to this patch, the x.1 patches never tend to be that good content wise. it's the x.2 patches where things start getting good. on top of that I'm really looking forward to seeing where the MSQ goes after how 7.1 ended.
They can't skip it, the game hit its big stride in Shadowbringers and a lot of that was from how good the MSQ was
7.3 for the next ultimate
Maybe it will be more of an Ascian Ultimate, with a full powered, reconpleted Zodiark as the final phase.
Guess its about time to max tomes out again to prepare for the weapon series and hope we get something better than turning in tomes.
Dudeeee I was so hyped when I seen Mountain Fire for the first time as a tank. That was such a wicked TB that had me pumped for future tank mechs... So far DT only pumped me full of disappointment D:
Its always good to hear about upcoming content.
when it comes to downtime i hope it's downtime as go away to do mechanic and not downtime as stay and watch as boss is untargettable.
Sorry, I didn't understand a single word you say in this video. Your shoulders and biceps was distracting me.

Support jobs? Are they maybe adding subjobs as an expanded form of duty actions? Perhaps instead of a action box, we unlock those actions by growing/levelling our subjob? I wonder how feasible that could be. I am fairly intrigued.
they really need to release the field ops stuff earlier. us midcore players have nothing interesting to do apart from grind old stuff.
Bless this video 🙏🏽
i just want spineshatter dive back
I’ve never felt so represented. Say it again for the people in the back!
I wish they'd add job customization with swappable optional actions. That way if some people don't like a particular action they can just add an alternate action you can use instead, and that way everyone is happy.
I want Spineshatter dive back too.
I want the 3 nastrond stacks back, and spineshatter.
nope it sucked
So much good will hinges on this .2 patch compared to ever before. Casuals and raiders are at their breaking point, and if you check on theyre socials most of them dont even trust the game team anymore when it comes to making proper content. Only group that has a majority happy is new players but thats mostly because they havent been chewing on the same meat/content since shadowbringers.
They litelary have no veteran devs working on the game aside from raid designers.
Writer,UI/UX designer, gear designer and many that we used to see their face on irl events are gone and either working on XVI
or supposed XVII.
Respectfully, what the fuck are you talking about? 😂 I raid and I've been loving the content lately, the game has been a blast.

You really think theyre going to do anything new and original *now*? In intermediate patches? With side gimmick content thatll be dead in 3 months and forgotten to rot in the dirt like always? Then theyll move onto the next gimmick minigame.
My hyped died down a lot for the game. Its cool seeing new content but im so disappointed with the classes now, they thing i enjoyed kept getting taken away.

They lost one third of active players by 7.1
One third.
1.4 mil down by 473k.
Thats a game dying.
I wonder if they will follow through on that claim of job balance in 7.2. Alot can be solved with potency adjustments but maybe they will try some soft reworks. Take another swing a BLM please, maybe a swing back to how it was in EW.
I'm calling pitty buffs for MCH again

First Quest: Speak to Wuk Lamat
Do we know if we're getting any more chaotic? Or was CoD just a test run to test interest?
So for now I am enjoying the game like I usually do when I am active and it felt the same when I was doing EW and ShB.
dt unlike ew is the biggest middle finger to casuals player that the issue.
My problem is that there is only 'four lights.'
SE DT told me say there's only 'three lights' and anything else is akin to "bullying," and I said, "NO it's NOT!" Hopefully they can figure out they never had the privilege/rights to demand that from me before they finally go bankrupt.
@ Wait I misread because I agree with EW not having much for casuals
I don't think Variant and Criterion is gonna be 7.3x.
Personally I hope they simmer it down with that kind of content. It's really unpopular for many reasons. I'd be fine with just one or two Variant/Criterions per expansion to farm out, because it's frankly too repetitive and uninteresting if you're going in as Completionist.
@@yep8058 that like the only causal content with beastmaster we get.
@yep8058 I honestly like the dungeons
They have fun bosses and lore and puzzles to discover without the use of guides
Variant is a fun vibe to run with friends and work on it as a sort of project over a few play sessions
Criterion is just an absolute mess that only a tiny subsection of hardcores do, I don't think I even know a single person who's bothered with Criterion and Criterion Savage
Fact SE does love suking off raiders at the expanze of the casual players.
A big patch, still a whole 2 months away and 4 months for half of it. The patch cycle cadence is really archaic...
Seems "very" early for another Ultimate in 7.3. Would rather they push beastmaster to earlier in the expac and do a .5 ultimate or something like that. The game always goes at least one patch without high-end raiding, no reason .3 can't be that one patch.

Anyone complaining about content should add a few new games or hobbies to the repertoire.
We did it doesnt excuse catering to irellavant raiders over the 80% casusl players.
So people should just accept the slop, cause it happens in WoW ?
With that logic don't complain about eating stale bread, cause "other people have worse"
Let alone a side to side comparison just cause mmo is asenine.
8 kind of quests and most of the time was give the lotion to thr alpachas, making it feel even further under developed

we i did we played wow and other game and dt isnt mid it down right a insult to player mostly casual players.
a MMO vet here.

(Also I was upset when Yoshi-P did only lip service 'legal action' after finding a plugin that exploited the blacklist features to allow those that were supposed to be blacklisted to harass their alts. Don't do this, Yoshi-P. Find out how the plug-in worked and reprogram your blacklisting to counter that ploy before a kazillion perverts copy that code and use it to drive people from the game. :()

None of the raid stuff really matter when it all gets dumbed down by bot mods. Which most of the player base who raid uses.

@@alessandroseverino8222 Yeah, the fact that people were expecting Dawntrail, the start of a new story arc to top the end of the previous one shows that people are flat-out stupid and should layoff anime for awhile.
Also housing just garbage with bidding
I mean technically housing is garbage too until they add the placement features other MMOs have in their housing system.
Too late.....they sunk their future in Woke Lamat....who most players dislike.
When you try to appease everyone, you end up appeasing nobody. Thanks a lot,
@@Irrashaimase1y’all are playing FFXIV that’s CRAZY that you are having issues and are scared of gay people when literally it feels like more than half the players are
I like her. And Wuk was the least problem of the Story.
They have expanded the MSQ by roughly 10 hours and all of it is just cutszenes. Additionally the MSQ gameplay outright suck. It is like 30h campaign with 25h cutzsenes and 5h gameplay.
"who most idiots players dislike"
There fixed it for you
