Single rider with a partner is the way to go. Not only is it faster but it gives an opportunity to race your partner in a different car toward the end of the ride. Fun to shout and holler at them.
I once watched a lady in the Single Rider line SCREAMING at the dad and little girl behind her that they “shouldn’t” be in the line because they weren’t “real” single riders. People are so exhausting.
I had a CM tell my wife and I "I'll let you go together this time, but in the future this is for single rider" not quite understanding that we are ok with being split up.
When I was younger I thought single rider meant “don’t get in single rider unless you are alone” but as I got older I realized anyone can go in single rider haha
That's nothing. I was in the single riders line a couple of weeks ago, and there were 3 GROUPS of people cutting the single riders line. You know, that I want to catch up to my group that's ahead of me thing.
My husband and I both rode Radiator Springs using single rider in early July mid-morning. We went one at a time while our daughter napped in her stroller so one of us could watch her. I timed the wait to get onto the ride and it was just over 9 minutes when I was in the queue. For my husband it seemed faster (he went 2nd), but we didn’t time it. Single rider is the way to go!
Thanks for the analysis. Awesome as always. We agree and love single rider at radiator springs. We have done it even when our kids were younger. One morning years ago, we rope dropped it and rode it twice in a row through single rider. We had both rides completed in 40 or 45 minutes!
I am re watching videos planning strategies for our upcoming trip and this is very helpful! Some of the people in my group are first timers so I want to make sure they have a great time! I fell in love with Disneyland planning my first trip watching fresh baked videos now I hope I can pass that love to my family, Thanks Dave!
I appreciate your effort and analysis so much, David. Anecdotally, I can verify that waiting until later at night does typically bear a shorter wait. Thank you!
This was great! Thanks so much! My husband and I are coming to America from Australia for the first time in a couple months and are very excited to go on this ride. We love Cars!
We rode Radiator Springs in November in the evening. The wait was 2 hours so we bought the lightening lane. It was worth it. The ride stopped momentarily so when it resumed, they were letting the lightening lane go first. When we left the most fabulous ride in the world, can you tell it's my favorite ride ever, the wait was now 3 hours.
These are my absolute favorite videos of yours. I love the data collection and the number crunching. I know they take weeks to months to do, but I hope you make one for all the main attractions
Just came to say THANKYOU! You are my favorite disney account by far. The time you put into these videos is so appreciated by so many of us. We are going to disneyland and will be there the week of christmas so this video is very helpful. We were thinking to rope drop this but not anymore. So anyway, thankyou! 😊
Fresh baaaaked! I was sitting in New Orleans Square waiting for Fantasmic tonight when this video popped up! Perfect timing thank you sir, have a good evening everyone 😎
Single Rider is a god send on this ride! Saves me so much time on my solo trips to DCA! I vote for Guardians, my #3rd favorite ride in DCA (with no Single Rider sadly)!
Thank you Dave, good video. This used to be a family favorite since it opened and we could get a fast pass. Since you have to pay for fastpass we rarely ride the ride anymore. Hopefully you have a chance to do Matterhorn . Ever since this ride got Fastpass, the wait time is forever.
Great show Fresh Baked. These are some very valuable tips, even for locals or those who go to the parks often! Keep these up! I say Matterhorn should be next! Or soarin. Fresh Baked!
Absolutely fantastic video! As someone who goes to Disneyland from out of state this really helps me become more informed on just how to utilize and navigate my time in the parks! Thank you 😊
i love watching these vids. theyve really been helping me to plan out a route for the next time i go so i can get the most fun out of the time i have. i definitely thing a video about the matterhorn would be awesome since that one always has such a long wait time
Love this video and thank you for all the recon stuff you do. I have taken notes about wait times for my trip next month and searched your videos for any others you have done . if you can do one on rise (or any Disney rides) that would be awesome
Amazing video! RSR is a big ride that I often only find time to ride once, but your video has given me ideas on how to maybe try to get this awesome ride in twice on my next trip.
These are my favourite videos I love The analysis and just looking at the spreadsheet is so exciting for me! I hope you can do more of these! Do space mountain next!
I appreciated your distinction of when to get out of line during a RSR breakdown and when to stay. I would love a video on breakdown strategies. You seem to know a lot about how long the average breakdown is on many of the rides, so advice on when to stay and when to leave would be awesome 😎
This was great information. We’ve been to Disneyland once a year for like the past 11 years and only gone on radiator springs once because the line is just too much. I just can’t convince myself to part with $80 to get us on the ride. Next time we go, I think I’ll try it again at night.
Definitely do Grizzly River Run as your next test since it’s Summer right now and this is when people want to ride it. Space Mountain is about to close for a month anyway.
We were there last week. Actually caught you in front the Peter Pan/Toad’s area on Friday. On Thursday, we roped dropped Radiator Springs. On and off the ride by 8:18 am. At 8:18 am, the wait time showed 80 min.
Because so many people rope drop radiator springs, my family always goes to guardians. We love that ride and we can usually get 4 rides in a row in about 45 minutes or so. Then we’ll move on to other rides.
We need that Avengers E Ticket and the Avatar ride to take away some people from Radiator Springs. I can see it becoming a Space Mountain/Indiana Jones level of wait time where it’s mostly 45 minutes not the crazy 60-80 minutes that are the usual wait time for RSR
Best video ever!! 🎉 I always ride this one using Single Rider. Maybe do Indiana Jones next. Although we all know that's a great one to rope drop. But in case you don't make it at rope drop. .
Hey David, love your stuff! I’m a data junkie and love looking at these park strategy optimization puzzles. It would be really cool to see this visually, on graphs or interactive charts of sorts-if you’d ever be interested in adding some data visualization to these sorts of problems, I would love to help! Cheers
Hi David, I would love to know more about the que for radiator springs. how long does each room take) (how long of a wait is it from the bottle room? ect) much like the different sections of the rise que.
MMRRR is a super easy line. As David has said, the doorway is 45 mins. They seem to clear the queue when it breaks down so keep an eye on the tip board. People will linger waiting for it to reopen, but it’s such a high capacity loader that even with a full line it moves almost constantly. It was never worth individual lightening lane, besides, the queue is sooo cute, it’s a disadvantage to skip it.
I am so excited this dropped today! We will be there in about a week and I was hoping this would come out before we go! Thank you for the helpful information. Question about rope drop. Is there a way to tell if it is open at rope drop, or do you just have to wait until you walk down there?
Individual LL can’t change the return time so you’re stuck if it’s really bad. I did do it with a friend once when it was half way down the road to San Fran and it was only 18 mins
I rode it Sunday at about 3:00, posted time said 55 minutes. Got on in 40. I was very happy. Had a little one with me couldn’t do single rider. That line was 5 minutes.
Ok for one of these 'Lab Tests', I would like you to try testing wait times for some of Disneyland's more popular attractions, i.e. Indiana Jones, Matterhorn, Big Thunder and Rise of the Resistance. BUT...only AFTER all these Ride Closures that will be happening in August. I'm going to be there in mid September but will only have about little more than half day inside the park. So I need to make the best of my time and I just get the feeling with so many closures, the other rides will suffer longer wait times than usual. I didn't include Haunted Mansion because if that has a Virtual Queue, it'll already be a nightmare. And by now, I can confidently say that I know Tiana's will NOT be ready by then.
It’s more than ten years on now. The popularity of this ride is a tribute to imagineers of the time. My only quibble: is the backside of Cadillac mountain range still left unfinished? Or perhaps was it always meant to be like this? It’s kind of jarring when viewed outside the park (or, at least it used to be; I haven’t seen it in years). The view from corner of Harbor and Katella. Maybe it was always meant to show the artificial , cartoony nature of radiator springs? If so, then it would be perfectly fitting. I’ve always wondered, pondered. ;) Grateful for the ride. I remember the excitement of opening day fondly. 🎉❤😮
Right now I'm seeing a 45 min wait time around 12:30. Is that bc it's lunch time, is that normal? I didn't see you mention short times around lunch time.
Matterhorn, please! Single Rider there is so unpredictable, unsure if it would be better to just get in line. The way it’s set up, it always looks like a “no” unless it’s after 11pm, which is reliably amazing.
Hi Dave, thank you for all you do. I don't go to the parks often, but your videos have really helped to maximize my family's days. If you are staying on property, where would you wait to queue radiator racers. What do you think would be the proper path with early entry if you have young kids (after 8 is not an option unfortunately) and this is a must do for them?
I wanted to take a second to say I really appreciate the time, effort & research you put into these videos.
Thank you :)
Single rider with a partner is the way to go. Not only is it faster but it gives an opportunity to race your partner in a different car toward the end of the ride. Fun to shout and holler at them.
I ropedropped RSR on early entry DCA and got on in 25 minutes
FRESHBAKED is DISNEYLAND!!
2 VIDEOS DROP WITHIN SECONDS?? YES!!!! It is a good day!!
Agreed. Great fresh baked day 😍
💖💖💖
I feel like Matterhorn is a hard one to get a grip on for wait times. I’d love to see that video!
Your dedication to the craft of Disney-Dadding is unparalleled.
I would love a 30 rides on space mountain! Thanks for everything you do. You really have changed and improved how my family does Disney
It doesn’t matter to me WHAT ride you analyze next, I will be watching that video. You da man David!
Yeah I get that sometimes you want to be in different cars on that ride
When I was younger I thought single rider meant “don’t get in single rider unless you are alone” but as I got older I realized anyone can go in single rider haha
Love these park science videos!
That's nothing. I was in the single riders line a couple of weeks ago, and there were 3 GROUPS of people cutting the single riders line. You know, that I want to catch up to my group that's ahead of me thing.
Hey David, you dropped this: 👑
My husband and I both rode Radiator Springs using single rider in early July mid-morning. We went one at a time while our daughter napped in her stroller so one of us could watch her. I timed the wait to get onto the ride and it was just over 9 minutes when I was in the queue. For my husband it seemed faster (he went 2nd), but we didn’t time it. Single rider is the way to go!
This is a MASTERCLASS on time management on waiting for an attraction.
Space mountain or matterhorn next please! I always love these types of videos
Thanks for the analysis. Awesome as always. We agree and love single rider at radiator springs. We have done it even when our kids were younger. One morning years ago, we rope dropped it and rode it twice in a row through single rider. We had both rides completed in 40 or 45 minutes!
Thank you so much for doing this for the freshbaked community! We all appreciate you very much!
Thanks!
we need updated fresh baked merch
Would love to see this for Indiana Jones! Great video
Thanks for the most valuable advice. We love what you’re doing and we love you. My vote is most definitely 30 for Grizzly River Rapids.
Good way to spend the summer lol
I am re watching videos planning strategies for our upcoming trip and this is very helpful! Some of the people in my group are first timers so I want to make sure they have a great time! I fell in love with Disneyland planning my first trip watching fresh baked videos now I hope I can pass that love to my family, Thanks Dave!
Great video as always! Would love to see a park hopping strategy video! Going next month and am preparing with all your videos 😅
I appreciate your effort and analysis so much, David. Anecdotally, I can verify that waiting until later at night does typically bear a shorter wait. Thank you!
Thank you for all this work! AMAZING!
You are doing the lord's work! You could easily put all your research behind a paywall or sell it but you give it to the people! Thank you sir.
This was great! Thanks so much! My husband and I are coming to America from Australia for the first time in a couple months and are very excited to go on this ride. We love Cars!

Great info, David thank you. Would love to see the Space mountain data
Single-rider lane rules!!
Just came to say THANKYOU! You are my favorite disney account by far. The time you put into these videos is so appreciated by so many of us. We are going to disneyland and will be there the week of christmas so this video is very helpful. We were thinking to rope drop this but not anymore. So anyway, thankyou! 😊
Any ride. I love these types of videos. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into them.
I’d love to see a midway mania or guardians test. Keep doing the GREAT work, David. FreshBaked!
This data driven analysis is 🧑🍳. Could not get enough of these breakdowns. Thank you so much!
Great show Fresh Baked. These are some very valuable tips, even for locals or those who go to the parks often! Keep these up! I say Matterhorn should be next! Or soarin. Fresh Baked!
And this is why I follow freshbaked!!
I did single rider on Radiator springs racers last year it is much faster than stand by line
Fyi youre a genius... thanks for being amazing at what you do
Love these! I need a video on every ride, but Matterhorn would be great.
Oh man I needed this! I'm planning a one-day trip for next Monday, and this has been the hardest ride to figure out when and how to do. Thank you!
Spreadsheet. You're such a nerd. LOVE IT - and thanks for the in-depth research!
Thank you for the excellent video FreshBaked!!!
Absolutely fantastic video! As someone who goes to Disneyland from out of state this really helps me become more informed on just how to utilize and navigate my time in the parks! Thank you 😊
i love watching these vids. theyve really been helping me to plan out a route for the next time i go so i can get the most fun out of the time i have. i definitely thing a video about the matterhorn would be awesome since that one always has such a long wait time
I love the analytics you provide for the most popular rides at the parks. Numbers do not lie. 🤓
PeopleMover?!
OH, it almost never had a wait, it a perfect ride.
HUGE fan of the que science! I will devour all of it that you can put together Fresh Baked. My vote is for Grizzly River Run. Perfect Summer Science
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you David. I can't wait to go to DL to try out all your tips. Also thank you for being a great ambassador to DL.
Dave, you are really taking your videos to another level! Big Thanks! Much love always!
30 on Matterhorn, please!
Great information and I love a good spreadsheet.
Love this video and thank you for all the recon stuff you do. I have taken notes about wait times for my trip next month and searched your videos for any others you have done . if you can do one on rise (or any Disney rides) that would be awesome
Space Mountain and Indiana Jones would be my picks for future Park Science videos! Great stuff and take care!
Great video! Thanks for all your hard work.
I’m obsessed with these videos and especially the excel spreadsheets!! Thanks David! 🎉
I loved this! My next request would be big thunder. That queue always feels so looong to me and I never know when to do it.
Thanks for sharing!!
I appreciated your distinction of when to get out of line during a RSR breakdown and when to stay. I would love a video on breakdown strategies. You seem to know a lot about how long the average breakdown is on many of the rides, so advice on when to stay and when to leave would be awesome 😎
Last week for the first time I rode it back to back at 9 40 p.m. on Sunday night. Single rider. Then Thursday night about 8 p.m. it was 40 min.
If you do 30 rides on the Matterhorn, you better have a good chiropractor on standby! Do Space Mountain.
This was great information. We’ve been to Disneyland once a year for like the past 11 years and only gone on radiator springs once because the line is just too much. I just can’t convince myself to part with $80 to get us on the ride. Next time we go, I think I’ll try it again at night.

Because so many people rope drop radiator springs, my family always goes to guardians. We love that ride and we can usually get 4 rides in a row in about 45 minutes or so. Then we’ll move on to other rides.
Top tier content 👏
MATTERHORN FOR SURE PLEASE! It's my favorite mountain at the park! No visit is complete without seeing Harold
Going next week for the first time, two days before they get rid of genie+ go figure. I can’t stress this enough when I say THANK YOU!
They arent getting rid of it, just changing the name so things will be the same! Have fun!
Thunder and Incredicoaster. I haven’t seen you share as much on those two queues and your previous tips for Space and Matterhorn have been excellent.
You walked by me when you were in the cozy cone last month! Probably filming this! 💪🏻
But in case you don't make it at rope drop. .
Thanks you for the tip, I used single rider last year
BTW, if Disneyland was smart they would hire you to do all these great analysis. Thank you so much very helpful
Great video as always! Matterhorn next please.
Would love to see one of these for RIse
Would love to see a video that’s organized and goes through que math on every ride in the parks so we can tell the real length of each que!
Hey David, love your stuff! I’m a data junkie and love looking at these park strategy optimization puzzles. It would be really cool to see this visually, on graphs or interactive charts of sorts-if you’d ever be interested in adding some data visualization to these sorts of problems, I would love to help! Hi David, I would love to know more about the que for radiator springs. how long does each room take) (how long of a wait is it from the bottle room? ect) much like the different sections of the rise que.
We always do single rider on this ride. In fact, I have NEVER waited in the regular queue and I have been on this attraction probably 50 times.
Would love to see your ride science on Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway next!
Always enjoy these. If not LL, single rider for me. Either Space Mountain or Matterhorn.
I am so excited this dropped today! We will be there in about a week and I was hoping this would come out before we go! Thank you for the helpful information. Question about rope drop. Is there a way to tell if it is open at rope drop, or do you just have to wait until you walk down there?
Big Thunder Mountain, please!

I usually do Radiator at the end of the day before the park closes.

Fantastic recon as always! I’d be curious to see what 30 rides for Indy are like over 30 days
Love this. Single rules
Right now I'm seeing a 45 min wait time around 12:30. Is that bc it's lunch time, is that normal? I didn't see you mention short times around lunch time.

Thank you time efforts you put in your Voides Peter Pan be good ride to recon
Hands down, the least we've waited (as a group) is getting in line at closing. LL is done.
