Lying Leg Curl | Best Hamstring Exercise?

แชร์

  • เผยแพร่เมื่อ 4 พ.ย. 2019
  • I wanted to make this video to get people to rethink lying leg curls and how they perform them.
To me this is one of my favorite pieces of equipment because the pump is insane and there are so many different ways to use it.
I just highlighted a few but don't be afraid to try something new out and see if it gets a better result, sometimes you just have to look weird for a few sets as you're trying things out but I guarantee you that if you come back a few days later someone will be doing the exercise they saw you create.

Your "gains" are about to be nonexistent. This is honestly some of the dumbest shit I've ever seen in my life.

Been gyming for 10 years. Tried some of Ryan’s tips, first time I have EVER had that ‘mind muscle’ connection. Ended up in isolated muscle agony, laughing like an idiot. Was so happy. Thanks mate 👍

Ryan, your contents are just direct, simple and effective for anyone who wants to learn or simply refine their techniques/movements they have been following over the years. The BIGGEST benefit is that these videos are short and to the point. Thank you. Subscribed.

😭😭 needs so many more views.. this is my 3rd time coming back to comment here bc my hamstrings are fookin growing. GOLDEN information from this man.. never have felt painful pumps in the hammys till I leaned up and did them. knee on the pad variation is killer as well

Just tried these kneeling hamstring curls and, oh man.. these are AWESOME!!! Just try them guys, you won’t regret it. I got such a pump. These make the regular version so lame in comparison. Thanks, Ryan!

Keep in mind, the Five stars are based on my needs for this item th-cam.com/users/postUgkxUHHotQRjIQnfuxEeVotlkHVYWH0DXZoS When I first bought the bike I was going to return it immediately. After trying it out for several days/weeks I came to realize it is actually perfect for WHY I bought it.This is not a workout, the resistance is, eh, it makes a bit of noise, not loud, and it isn’t very stable even with the mat. The mat certainly keeps the bike from sliding but nothing keeps the mat from sliding (if that makes any sense, lol). Mine is place on my hard wood floor. Maybe it would be better with a rug underneath??I sit for long hours for work and wanted something to keep my legs moving. This bike does exactly that! For the price it is amazing, it is compact, easy to use, light weight, keeps track of time, calories etc (not sure how accurate it is) but good little product. I am happy with it.

I tried 2 variations so far. Absolutely killer! The movement is very similar to the sitting leg curl machine. The difference for me is Ryan's way also gives a little upper body work which to me is ideal. When you can get extra body parts involved I'm in like a log in a fireplace 😉

Crazy that I came across this video because I’ve always naturally done these with dorsiflexion and was never even conscious if it. Sometimes i get pain in the back of my left knee while doing it so I thought to try with the toes pointed , had to lower the weight significantly but like I thought it solved the pain issue That I had . I’m going to keep doing them like this from now on and will definitely try these other tips mentioned

I love this channel ill add this for some peoples thought as I am just covering hamstrings in my studies and the bicep femoris is unique with its muscle fibers as it seems designed for quick explosive knee flexion meaning lower reps and higher sets seem to work just fine to...also eccentrics are enormously worthwhile for injuries if u play a sport like rugby soccer football it can save ur hamsting

I see some value in performing a full range of motion with light dumbbell curls, especially hammer preacher curls. I wouldn't go heavy with it, but the stretch feels great, and the soreness the next day is located in different parts of the bicep and forearm that otherwise wouldn't be so tender. I wouldn't use it all the time, but I do think there's value in it.
