Never been a fan of the standard pocket door hardware, especially the tiny finger pull latch. I opted for a sugatsune DSI-4251-45-BL for the pull handle and a Delaney pocket door lock.

Also for acoustic management, I lined the inner drywall panels with butyl automotive sound deadener to dampen fart noises.
That looks like a plain old deadbolt. What's to keep the door from sliding back?
