    Hi everyone!!!
Thank you for all the nice comments! Just wanted to also remind you all that average test scores doesn’t mean average doctor! We can still be phenomenal doctors even if we are bad test takers!
Being a great doctor does not require only knowledge about the mechanism of action of a drug or the receptor on a cell. It is a combination of that, along with human compassion, people skills, caring for your patients!
Scores do not and will not define you ❤️
Also - for everyone wondering, the DEA waiver course I took can be found on instagram at @getwaivered !

Impressive effort and journey, success at the end-Congratulation, well deserved. My nephew has about 3 years of experience in Emergency Medicine and managing the Emergency department and hospitals in Iran. Is there any company here in the US that I can hire to help him in the ECFNG or USMLE process? I really appreciated it if I can get any guidance. THANKS

@@nataleec18 Hey Natalee! I’m at Trinity on St. Vincent. Trinity is perfect for me because:
      1. At the time, they didn’t required MCAT
      2. At the time, I did their premed to MD track. They took into consideration all of the prereqs I completed, so I only had to complete 2 premed terms prior to matriculating into MD program.
      3. The island is beautiful, people are kind, friendly students and faculty, nice/clean campus, security, daily/hourly school transportation
      4. Third and fourth year clinical rotations are in one hospital system so I like that I don’t have to travel much
      5. MD program is only 4 terms on the island and then the remainder are in the U.S.
      6. Early exposure to clinical rotations (they begin in the first MD term)
      7. Small class sizes
      Top reasons for me :)

I remember seeing this video in the lead up to application season a year ago, it gave me the inspiration I needed as an IMG going into the whole crazy application process. I really didn't think matching in EM was going to happen for me. Now, I'm watching this one week before I start my intern year at my dream EM residency program. If you're reading this and you feel the same way I did a year ago, keep going, you can do it. You're a better applicant than you think and hard work is recognized and rewarded. Don't give up, everyone who was in your position before is pulling for you

We need more doctors like you who are willing to show humility and vulnerability! Also this was just the motivation I needed since I’m in the middle of studying for step 1 right now so thank you for your positivity!
