Hi everyone, ln this video l will compare Nairobi city of Kenya with Kampala city of Uganda. These are 2 neighboring countries in East African region. Currently there's a social media war between the two countries and people ask which country is the best and also comparing the national flags and Ugandans said that the Kenyan flag is boring and Kenyans said that Ugandan flag has chicken in the middle.

In my view, both cities are great depending on each individual's taste! UG being a land locked country Kla has more challenges I guess than N'robi. Albeit both are growing up at a smoth rate, I wish all E. African cities compete yet work cooperatively together, will be good for all! Gd job keep up, bro!

The average growth of Uganda's GDP of 6.5% over the last two decades has helped Kampala to put a tough comparison against Nairobi. But, I think, Nairobi has an edge above the rest in the region.

Am Ugandan, In terms of infrastructure Nairobi is ahead but still Kampala has its unique strategic of those scenic hills and development as well.
Nairobi is on a flat land and Kampala is made of hills also Kampala is lively compared to Nairobi but Nairobi is much developed.

@@dudy the city architect, people are charming they also don’t have superiority complex like Kenyans do. While the biggest slums in Africa are coming from Kenya, there so many slums there. This is why I love kampala small city but well structured no slums as in Kenya.

I say Kampala is better cuz being in a landlocked country means more struggle in business but it's doing much better compared to many cities built in countries with coastlines.

let me make it straight to Kenyans, Yes Nairobi is developed, but Kampala has a unique climate, clear sunny cloudy skyline, has potential if well greened, and is developing at fast rate, i bet in 5 years, Kampala will be head to head with Nairobi..Ofcos Kampala coming off with a super fantastic scenic view, Nairobi has a dull cloudy sky as Lagos or Abuja or Accra

Head to head with Nairobi because Nairobi is sleeping right??? Nairobi is developing daily this month you visit a certain area then when you visit the same exact location after a few months the same area you visited is different either a flat or a mall is under construction there. It is crazy.
@@dudy Nairobi has, and still it's building more advanced Industrial parks. Has cities within it's proximity with advanced medicare, industrial parks, advanced tech & business schools. Infrastructure in the out skirts of Nairobi are more advanced than in the city and still more infrastructure are on going and some are on the table.
Nairobi has National park, forests, several spacious green gardens.
Kamapala should tighten it's belt. The gap will widen exponentially

You did not include Uganda's most expensive road and the Northern bypass while you listed Nairobi Expressway, not even Kampala flyover, Nakivubo stadia, most parts of Nakasero.

Mombasa inhabitants wouldn't bother with this comparison none sence they are too busy with their slow life..and mombasa is a coastal.city with its own vibe and many from.mombasa including myself prefer coastal cities like zanzibar and daressalam..hence I wonder why you involved this..we don't even think of Kampala and most of the people who went to Kampala came back in less than a year not finding anything interesting for them there or any upcountry cities

Both are the best Kampala and Nairobi. In East Africa all countries are very good. But the big exception is Somalia. It is not only the worst country in Africa but one of the WORST countries in the world.

Every city across the world has its unique character, comparing Nairobi and Kampala is like comparing apples and oranges. I visited Kampala a few years ago and I can testify I would love to return. Kampala is no way inferior to Nairobi.
