Moreover, the University of Nairobi has never been ranked among the top 3 or 5 African universities either! you have very little information about Ethiopia's universities. Ethiopia have 50 state owned universities, out of which 18 are very huge (60,000+ students per year) reaserch and learnining center but in your list only include AAU.
You forgot to mention that some famous figures like Ptesident Yoweri Museveni of Uganda, former President of Tanzania HE Jakaya Kikwete studied at the Univetsity of Dar es Salaam.
