Everytime I listen to this song... ah I uh travel back in time, tears are trying to came out of my eyes but I know it's not actually a sad song. Sometimes, I want to feel sad for me to know that I'm still human even I'm older, well.. I'm listening to this song since '85, and it's '24, here I am, I'm still here. This is the best nostalgia that I am experiencing when I listen to this song. I love all songs of Paul Weller. Thank you, Paul. Because of you, I have sweet (and sad) mem'ries that I want to savour until now.
Hauntingly beautiful. Tracey's voice is so captivating. I don't know if it's brushes on the drums? 🤔, but it's takes me back to old classic jazz tunes. What a treat. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and The Outrageous One. Just mesmerizing. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Must have listen to it about a 1000 times still give me the goose bumbs There are a view different versies of this song All beutiful i think it,s on my cremation list 😢😅
Style Council leader Paul Weller is one of the finest musicians and songwriters of his generation. But he simply is not a very distinctive singer in my opinion and I'll bet that's why the band never made it big in America.
I loved the Style Coucil. Usual vocalist Paul Weller has an awesome body of work in all of his various bands and his solo projects .

An incredible song! This version of The Paris Match is amazing.
reminds me of a younger time- trying to be soooo cool, dressing sharp, and riding my Vespa. good times at the cafe!
🇬🇧 I`m living in Tokyo.. but around early 80 s.. ♪I often visited London, Liverpool, Edinburg.. for Live at small venue... my happy days ⭐♪⭐♪
Harri. Yes, there's absolutely a wonderful rendition of this torch song with "The Modfather," Paul Weller on vocals.
This is an a most beautiful song, thank you for sharing it with us.
This was a pleasure...................after so many years. Time and place man.
Amazing track, amazing band, amazing Paul Weller...

I just closed my eyes and went to another place. Great request and terrific analysis 🌺✌️
Wow sooutrageous1 this is simply a stunner! I do love Style Council. 💜
This song will give me goosebumps until the day I die…fell in love with this song almost 40 years ago…616 dorm room of my GF at Barnard…

If you’ve never heard it before, a great jazzy song that The Jam had, is called Shopping. It was the B side to Beat Surrender in 82
My absolute favorite song
Great video!
Simplesmente lindíssimo
The gift you gave is desire, the match that started my fire
Don't think anyone could hold that song apart from Tracey
That's Ben Watt on guitar, so we can say it's Style Council feat EBTG. Paul Weller didn't play on this specific track though.
Brilliant tune although i prefer their "Live Paris Theatre London 1983" version or the Early version from "Introducing the Style Council".
That's the version I knew and love, from Introducing...
Sometimes, it is so unfair for a song to end.
th-cam.com/video/Luz8ePH1ay8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=iFa9XKVEgVwFsXKo questa è la versione cantata da Paul Weller, molto diversa da questa, ma comunque bella
