5:18 very counter intuitive method I found to get rid of the screen tearing with seemingly minimal input lag is to turn on v-sync, set the max frame rate to 59, and lower your monitor refresh rate to 60hz. Hope that helps, great video.

Jokes aside, did you know there's actually a Lancer rifle from GoW in the files for DS1? Zullie has a video on it, they think it may have been used as a stand in/stock asset for some early bow animating. It'd be interesting for someone to put in a mod that makes it work.

you should try this mod with the titanite pebble, its a pretty low damaging fist weapon that has a slow, limited moveset, added as a meme more than anything, like the stick

Yeah it's really surprising how little content there is on this mod considering how much effort went into it. Everything it adds makes the game better I would say. It's effectively the SMG2.5 of Dark Souls, that is, if SMG2.5 ever came out. Maybe you could try some more runs using this mod, e.g speedrun all the secret bosses, or just show off all the new cool weapons and spells added in. It would most likely make the good word of this mod spread even further.
I definitely want to do a "stick only" playthrough, that would probably be pretty fun

It took me so long to figure out what you meant by this. My first thought was "oh, that must be their favorite preset" or "that one makes funny faces when you use the face randomization, that's probably why." If this means what I think it does, though, I'm very disappointed.
I actually think you “plunging attacked” the Asylum Demon, but without a distinct animation it just dealt increased damage

I definitely want to do more for this mod, a "stick only" run, "modded spells only" or some "weapon art only" runs could be cool. I think the skull lantern can shoot fireballs with this mod, like the necromancers can do, that would be fun to mess with. I also haven't played nightfall yet, but I remember playing the demo a few years back, I'll see how that goes. Other than that, though, I don't know of many mods that change the gameplay enough to have unique challenge runs. Aside from randomizers, of course.

0:50 Two years ago, Davey Gunface actually did an SL1 Plasma Pistol only challenge run. So, this is technically the second video that beats dark souls with only a firearm, albeit of different varieties.

i would really like to watch your videos. English is not my first language so i have problems to understand when speaking so fast. You are speaking such a long sentences on one breath. It wouldnt be problem if you slowed down and made some pauses when speaking. I am sure there are many people like me, which cant watch because they cant keep up with you.
I'm definitely trying to talk slower, I'm hoping my next one will be better, I'm just so used to talking quickly. I'll keep working on it, and in the meantime, I know some people have found success with 0.75x playback speed, but I can see why that would be annoying. Thank you for the feedback!

Plus there's "can you beat dark souls with only scythes" as one of the most viewed challenge runs on this website, and that's just a normal build lol. I don't know, I consider it a "challenge run" if there are restrictions on what you can and can't use/do, regardless of how "challenging" it is.
