You can totally learn to do it with any heels that offer the right height that you’re looking for :) One day you may manifest your dream pair and you will already have the skills to slide right in and walk like a pro
For the application, as long as you follow directions, I would assume it would be okay. But since this is a first impression I would recommend making sure you look great! Have your makeup/ hair, be in a quiet and clean place, and try to have the best production value possible.

Hi Mikaela, I think this is a great idea! Like choreography for walking patterns? Experienced walkers tend to think of the pageant walking as a sort of language; once you get a feel for it, you throw a turn here, pose there, and pivot when you feel like it - it's not always decided upon in advance, believe it or not! (Sort of like how dancers improvise with the music once they get into the "feel" of a routine.) Once work gives me a gap (the post pandemic explosion has been real) it's at the top of my list!
