This was entertaining sure enough, but it's hard to like it after watching this Y/T video: Hellzapoppin Swing Dance Scene (5:04). Now this Swing Dance/Lindy Hop has pizazz galore!
8 year late reply incoming.. You realize this was a live competition (one take, dancers had no prior knowledge of music) vs. Hellzapoppin was a fully chorographed filmed routine (that was repeated many times until they got the version they liked). Hellzapoppin is awesome, for sure, but its just a different beast.
it would be kewl if this was full contact, in toga's. dont really get why dudes have to look like dooshes and the gals like working girls?!?!? does looking like lame and a prositute make you a better dancer? or is it just the mental placeabo effect

A terrific show, Since being badly injured in Borneo I have a steel knee joint and walking is a problem so watching these dancers is an absolute joy.

266 hammer pants couldn't pull one aerial... Everyone else was doing it regularly as part of their routine. They were easily outclassed.
