@@matth7820 Firstly, thank you! I appreciate it! One of the biggest pieces of advice I can give you is to play as many classes and builds as possible. For example, if you have trouble fighting mesmers, play mesmer for a weekend to figure out their weaknesses and key abilities. You'll learn super quickly. You don't need to know every trait and animation, just having an idea of the most important ones goes a very long way. You can even just buy 1 character slot and keep that as your "learner slot" for trying out new things. Make a necro, play for a weekend, delete it, make a guard, repeat. Also, if you want some personalised guidance, I offer completely free coaching sessions in my discord server.
i remember when facet of nature gave all the boons from other facets, since then i wasnt able to play herald at a good lvl, now with your vids and practice in WvW zerging i finally got that lvl back, ty for all the info and gameplay

Hey mate, I took a break and have come back as hammer gs vindicator- and i'm getting fucked in ranked. feel like willbenders just one shot me so easy. Any tips on good vindicator builds rn, or videos you can point me to?
@@maxouaddane232 Hey man honestly they kinda hit vindi with a hammer repeatedly. I havent done a ton of testing to determine what the best build for vindi is rn. I think the best version is may be devastation + invocation right now with either daredevil, isgarren, or rivers relic. But I think overall power Rev in general is outshined by spear willy and spear mes for the power DPS role. You're going to have to work harder for the same result than a spearbender or spear mes. Condi Rev is stupid strong right now though.
@@homage3 Yeah that sounds about right given my experience this week, thanks for the advice. I've only just got the dlc so might give condi rev a go. It's just annoying, i really struggle going back to herald after playing vind because i love vind so much. cant get enough of that dodge attack hahaha
@@maxouaddane232 I totally understand. I love the movement tech and the ability to jump dodge over stuff. I actually played some vindi today using dual swords + staff and it didn't feel too bad. The twin generals relic seems pretty good for that spec too.
@@homage3 Ooo i've not tried that loadout, i'll give it a try! Just a random other question, how do you run backwards, like ur turning and running that way??
@@maxouaddane232 I use an about face keybind and free cam to be able to instantly turn my character and run away. You'll find "about face" in the keybind settings
Love your stuff as always. Your builds definitely lean into high risk, high reward territory, and my map awareness and matchup knowledge in PvP isn't really up to that. Any suggestions on something a little more forgiving? Ideally still rev, but I can make anything but thief or mes work.
@@loopgru Thanks very much! I definitely agree my favorite builds are a bit high risk. Check out my video 2 weeks back about renegade. That build is super forgiving but is still fun to play :)
