Very clever stuff Andy. I think flying with a strobe is a good thing. Somthing I need to think about.

Wiltshire Man - yep good to have when flying on overcast days or 30mins eitherside of sunrise and sunset.

Nice project - where did you get the strobe light from?

      Bolterauer PPG - I made it from 4 10w 12v LEDs

Wow man, great design. You gonna throw the circuit on a protoboard?

Andrew Humphrey - Sure can do that at some point, it’s a fairly basic circuit. Will post a better video at some point with finer details.

How much does this look like it will cost to make all in after completion

Adam Aves - it’s cost me over £600 so far, that’s because I had to invest in a decent 3D printer! If I can sell a couple at a reasonable price, then at least I will recover my costs

Andy Bexx how much would it cost without the purchase of the printer and how much do you recon you'll look at selling them for

Adam Aves - Hard to estimate at the moment, the LEDs and electronics are a fairly cheap, depends on what the batteries cost. I haven’t really considered costs at this stage, purely a project I want to get right for myself. Then if it all works and there is enough demand I may look at selling a few. What would you be prepared to pay?
