    Thanks God. I am sick of those tiktoks with the inspirational audios and only doing exercise at the gym and waking up early. I mean, yeah, it is cool and amazing. But what else? What are we doing to improve our economy and our mental health. Thanks for the video

    Summary:
    Instead of getting a blueprint of habits of millionaires, knowing about their mindset to be able to do the things vital for their success is way more helpful.
    Doing the thing is the only mindset common in all successful people.
    The only thing that is going to make you successful is who you become and the ability to do the things required for your success.
    5 Mindset Habits:
    1. Self-talk
    You need to become obsessed with monitoring how you talk with yourself. Just change the bad story about yourself. Write a beautiful story that's no more a story but it becomes a part of you. At first, it'll require a lot of discipline but after sometime, thqt narrative is going to be the real you, your identity.
    2. Identify and investigate self-sabbotage
    You really have to be able to identify the instances where your brain is drawing you away from the person you want to and be able to curb that thought towards positive. A really easy way to do it is to stop and reflect every day and ask where you were distracted in the day.
    3. Mental rehersal ( Similar to visualisation)
    Take scenarios that you want to happen and rehearse them in your minds fully. Make the scenario as positive as possible. Do not fall for your brain's negativity bias.
    4. Two path decision making Method
    When you're making decision, it is either do that thing or not do the thing. A lot of life decisions are based on emotions. Every time you are faced with a decision you need to pause and visualise two paths, one decision would lead to one path and the other one other path. Just visualise everything that'll happen along that path.
    5. Daily belief expansion
    You have to belief that the thing you're doing is definitely going to get you where you want to go.
    Sorround yourself with things that inspire you towards your goals.

    I really didn't know what I was doing wrong until I watched this video, God knows how I found it still don't know but so glad It, A few seconds ago I was a victim of negative self talk while listening I STOPPED the video, took out my phone cause my notebook was very far and started writing down all the negative talks and changed them to positive after awhile I got this feeling I cant explain but it felt like victory there was a shift, I caught myself smiling as I was writing it was just flowing felt as if something inside me was helping me, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

    listening to the fifth habit, belief expansion, I realize this isn't something I'm doing currently. I have a hard time connecting the work that I need to get done in the moment with the outcome I want to achieve in the long-term. All of the advice in the video is great, and I will especially be working on this, both by imagining the path that connects my current action to the future outcome, and by building a playlist with people who are an inspiration to me. Thank you for all of the great advice!!

    I'm from a third world country with limited access to life in general I was living a life I believed was not mine and I wanted to change that and the only way was to move to a first world country.
    The only reason why I'm writing this comment now as a resident of Germany is that I adopted one mindset : Germany was my only option !
    I didn't allow myself another option if not Germany than nothing at all and it worked I found myself working 10 times harder I had motivation to work all day I knew what it would take to get a job in Germany and I subconsciously let go of everything else I didn't even apply to any jobs in my country.. it took around 6 months of continuous hard work but one day I got that offer.
    So the only takeaway from this is your mindset is the key to anything you want to achieve or be.

    The two path decision has helped me so much! Often, we let how we feel in that moment dictate what we do. When I don’t feel like doing something I ask myself and also visualize, how am I going to feel after this? Am I respecting myself by doing this? I even tell myself that If I can go to work when I don’t feel like it, I should also show up for myself when I don’t feel like it.

  • @namastehere7690
    @namastehere7690 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    I went down a rabbit hole with your two step decision method. It started with simple questions to really getting down to why I get up in the morning. That is personal and very necessary. You want to go to with the scenario that makes you feel more fulfilled. I resonate with this so much, I've been focusing on how my brain works and why I do the things that I do (my habits). This year really did push me out my comfort zone. This video came in divine timing for me. I am going to use your video as reference in my blog if that is okay, what you do is inspiring(:

      This is a lazy and limiting comment, and such a common dismissal for women who are passionate about their knowledge and skill set (ie: “shrill”, “hysterical”, “bossy”, etc)

    • @Erinmayhenry

      Somethings need context… the impatience to always get straight to the point is why some people miss the whole intention behind the the habits and without intention have no pull to actually do them.

    I’m still listening to the video but so far you’re inaccurate. There are habits that successful people implement. Reading is still important even for a lacrosse player. The concept of continuous learning is the point of reading. So the habits you’re referring to like waking up early and reading are general. The underlying habit is waking up around a consistent time and developing a routine that sets you up for a focused day. Not just getting up early… but let’s see what the rest of the video reveals 🧐

    • @Erinmayhenry
      @Erinmayhenry  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m demonstrating that nor reading or waking up early are absolutely necessary for success. A lacrosse player can become a world champion without ever reading a book in their life. I didn’t say that reading was bad, it’s just not a habit that Everyone MUST adopt to reach their goals as many other habit videos prescribe.
