how do you feel about the chinese diesel heaters? would you ever install one in a trailer? Do you have larger propane tank mounting brackets? do they make 20lbs mounts?

I hate everything about Chinese diesel heaters! I hate the complexity, the fact that they're made in China, having to carry diesel, the exhaust, everything. On the propane mounts, Expedition Essentials doesn't make a 20 lb mount but Powertank does.

Where did you get the hose going from propane tank to heater. Thanks

You'll need a hose with a POL or QCC1 fitting on one end to attach to the bottle, and a 1/4" FIP on the other end to attach to the regulator input. The regulator needs to be a 2-stage unit. Then the hose going from the regulator to the furnace needs a 3/8 FIP to go into the regulator's output, and a 3/8 female flare on the other end. The heater has a 1/4" MIP connection, so you'll need to get a 1/4" FIP to 3/8" Male flare adapter to thread onto the furnace. That will allow you to connect the 3/8 female flare end of your output hose to the furnace. All of that you can get on Amazon or Etrailer, just get whatever lengths of hose make sense for your setup.

And of course if you want to order the full kit from us we'll do that too.

How much propane did the unit use on a typical night?

I'm not sure exactly, but I used an 11lb propane bottle and had it running for 3 nights and the bottle still felt pretty full.
