I nearly got the sentence out of my mouth… after 8 beats, instead of 2. 😅 But English is my second language, Ìm a pretty old boomer and my brain works too slow due to my multiple sclerosis. I think my mouth is broken or I’m dumb cause cadence 1 is a struggle…my brain sees and hears buhduh but my mouth makes a weird remix of the word butter…😂
This is actually harder for me because I have a lisp which doesn’t allow me to swap between the same letters quick enough. If I could get a reply, Cole. That would be awesome. It was helpful though as well.
What I would do is take one bar and practice saying it acapella without out the music really slow and see if you can do that. This will build up your muscle memory and then you can gradually keep trying to say it faster. You could also slow down the speed of the TH-cam video as well. I hope this helps. I feel ya, don't give up on it. Try relaxing your mouth and don't move your lips too much almost like your whispering. Extremely difficult...damn I wonder if rapping fast is almost like a language where if you don't keep doing it you lose it there was a time where I could do basically all Tech N9ne songs I could rap King ISO and Twisted Insane etc songs but then I just stopped doing it for like multiple years started realizing it again that I was having difficulty doing it nowadays even keeping up with songs I used to be able to rap so I came looking for a channel to increase my skills it is so interesting how difficult it was for me to say beh duh... it's almost like my brain gets in the way of what my mouth wants to say
I wouldn't be too worried about it. You likely just lost the muscle memory and need to build it back up. It's the same reason was bands have to practice their classics before going on tour. Even though they've played a song 1,000 times they still have to practice to bring all of those movements back to the for front of their minds/nerves/muscles etc.. hang in there, you got this! Start slower and get the muscle memory down and then gradually increase your speed from there ✌😎 - Cole Mize
This definitely required mouth stretching and exercise. The tongue and lips feel lazy and slurrish. I find certain combinations are extremely hard to say where more complex lines are easier. This is weird lol I think you mentioned in one of your videos about using tongue exercises by doing the alphabet, tongue pressed against check on both sides. Definitely have to keep practicing this. tip for everyone if your struggling: speed up the video to 1.25 and try the cadence like 4 times, then turn it back to normal and do that 4 times, keep doin that untill you can do the normal one perfectly.

tip for everyone if your struggling: speed up the video to 1.25 and try the cadence like 4 times, then turn it back to normal and do that 4 times, keep doin that untill you can do the normal one perfectly.
