Astore To Rama Lake Road Trip Gilgit Baltistan Pakistan 2024. Welcome to Tarar Support, I am traveling in Pakistan. In this video, Astore City To Rama Lake Road Trip. This is a Beautiful Harcho Waterfall near Astore City in Gilgit Baltistan. After a long two-day motorbike ride from Punjab, I finally got to Astore City. Last night I was here. Now it is early morning about 6:20 AM. Astore City to Rama Lake is 13 Km. It takes one hour to reach the beautiful Lake. the road is unpaved, dusty, bumpy, and stony. Goats are still resting, I think after 7 Am will go for graze. Rama Lake is located at an elevation of about 3300 meters. about 10800 feet above sea level. Astore City at an elevation of 2546 meters about 8353 feet. Motorbike runs in first to third gear. In this valley, farmers grow Potatoes, peas, and wheat. the arable area is not enough for family. This is a beautiful lush green Rama Meadow, If you are not a good driver it would be better to travel in a 4x4 vehicle, I think Timber Mafia was also active in this area a few decades ago. Most tourists stay in this base camp. From this camp, you can visit Rama Lake by motorbike or horseriding but the best option is to walk on the trail. From the Base camp, Rama Lake is about 2 Km. I have to cross this 20 meters of snow, Finally, This is Rama Lake. This Lake is located in the foothills of the Nanga Parbat and just below the Rama Glacier. Nanga Parbat Peak is not visible from here. Adventurous people can hike up to Rama Glacier but I will Walk along Rama Lake.
