In the Pacific Northwest zone 8b, I tried wee bit giddy in full sun and quickly moved her to shade when she promptly burned. She’s the only one my pesky deer aren’t grazing, so that’s good.

Hi Jenny what about Silver Dollar, I planted some this summer and they didn’t do that well, they are in full sun and I’m in Southwest Georgia, they did ok for awhile, my first time planting Hydrangeas
Jenny I've never heard you mention Flowerful smooth hydrangeas...or did I just miss it. I'm wondering if you've had any experience with them. Here in Manitoba the nursery I buy from is highly praising it.

I’m in zone 7a and I hope they do well during the winter planted in pots maybe I throw in a blanket on them when is freezing

I don’t have any experience with it
When watering hydrangea's, do you water by the root or the leaves? I've read both way but someone time me if you water the leaves, they will rot.
