i love how ever since he did body work on the galaxie , that he doesn’t even question and dives straight into cutting and fixing the mustang 😂😂❤️ so motivating
It was either this or deboss garage. I obviously chose this because I’ve been here since the red galaxy and I like the way you do your videos. And the car content
I love that you call those headlights “ugly” and that you’re good with OEM. I see our tastes align on many things. I have a ‘69 F100 Explorer and a ‘59 Fairlane. I used to have a Foxbody. I should never have sold it. I enjoy your videos immensely! Keep it up.
Now we're talking Mustang Fox - Body. This car is taking shape. Thanx for the videos Craig, always appreciate your work ethic and persistence to get things done.
100% improvement getting rid of the layers of bondo and bent cowl piece along with going back to the stock headlights. A lot of aftermarket headlights have such poor fitment - they're not right, wrong size buckets, clips don't line up, etc. Probably why you had the big holes in the header panel and they were never in tight.
Craig your talent is truly commendable. If I understand correctly you're studying to be an engineer, if so, you will be a very good one! I'm not blowing smoke here, I am a 73 year old retired mechanical engineer and I know a good one coming along when I see one! Kudos!!
4:00 I watched a video a while back where the guy repairing this type of damage would drill small holes on either side of the crack. He then used plastic zip ties to draw the 2 sides of the crack together, with the female plug on the zip tie on the inside of the bumper. Once he had everything lined up, he did the fiberglass repair on the inside of the bumper. After having enough fiberglass holding everything together, the zip ties were clipped and removed from the outside of the bumper. Whatever is still on the inside, stays there. The outside of the bumper was treated to a coat of flexible body filler to fill in the holes once used for the zip ties. I hope that makes sense to you.
Nice job Craig! The front end is looking much better and I am glad you replaced the hood. I was a victim of the hood flying up on me before in my old mustang I had. I never fixed it lol I am more cautious with the one I have now.
Must have for body work.... Its called Featherlight bondo. Its hard to find some times. But amazing. Also, stir bondo...do not flip or fold or use a scrapper and flop it back and forth
That car has come a long way you have put in some work its starting to look sharp i dig the wheels good stance and yes the stock headlights are the way to go,i would use flex primer i think that's what a painter did on a 79 i used to own on the bumper cover to keep it from cracking ,not sure what the guy did but it helps the paint adhere to the urethane bumper and you can safely run it through a car wash
Craig, great job but the only thing you should have done with that wiper bracket is to put some of that urethane between it and the top cowl piece to prevent it from having a hidden rattle. Seems like you might be doing some rework as you go along so something to keep in mind in case that rattle develops. Hopefully it won't be an issue though!
Nice football trick👍🏻👍🏻 I have a project gutted roller 1986 factory T-Top coupe and the back package tray area by the back window was pushed down on one side bad….don’t know how it was done and that it didn’t break the factory back window (carlite) but I used a 2x4 across the spare tire well and used my aluminum floor jack and put a 1x4 piece of wood sideways and jacked up the dent and it pushed it up perfect and looks like factory now👍🏻👍🏻 amazing what you can use around the garage to fix things on a fox😁👍🏻
I love seeing the stang come together brother but when the football blew it scared the shit out of me for real I was focused on the metal and it blew oh yeah you got me buddy
I like your videos. You're a lot more motivated than I was. I see the preview for your new hood with those Aerocatches? I hope you lay out the install on those? I thought I was a genius when I considered the implementation 4 years ago but alas not.
man i had the hood on my 83 vert fly up on me twice (within 10 min of eachother, luckily my aftermarket hood saved my windshield) and ive been too scared to fix it, this is motivating me now
I see from thumb nail but not in video you got aero latches I sent installed too. Looks sick and I'm positive alot better once front clip painted. Great work and I love my mustangs too.
She's gettin' purdier. Even without matching panels she still looks 100% better to me. BTW, I've seen a droopy nose when I was "following too closely" and the SUV in front and I both were braking. Slid right under that bumper! Doh. Droopy even after a patch fix.
You are one helluva tenacious bastard. I respect that. Also, you're really helping to motivate my lazy ass into fixing my ol piece of shit Monte that's been in my garage for too long now, just waiting to be fixed. Thanks for that!
I see you have coil overs mounted to the strut towers. I always hear that you're supposed to have an aftermarket k member because the stock strut towers aren't load bearing. What are your thoughts on that?
During the first part of your video, you said it looked "Droopy". Good name for the Fox Body 😂 Waiting to see what it looks like when you're done with "Droopy". Another great video Craig 👍👍
Oddly enough Craig, I never thought to ask what you are studying to be... lawyer, doctor or computer technology as its a good release of energy working on old cars... I remember those first frustrating years of what will it be, rust to junk or fix it right... the later won I am happy to see. I remember the "Fox" coming out and our not caring for this radical change in appearance, a lot of them were drove hard and put to bed wet. You have done a lot to bring out the best for the ford brand as its a great big chevy world an you pay way more for same year chevy as to a ford, both have their good and bad points... I just didn't like being like everyone else.
i really hope you do the touchups on the back of the car and the roof i mean ya got the paint why not i know itll bother you too if ya dont this definitely looks better
You've been going to college as long as I've been watching your videos which has been a while how much more do you have to do?? Are you going for a doctorate??
U could have saved urself alot of hassel and pannel bond it at winshied and frt tack it edges and be done with it faster safer and just as strong and less chance of warp and cracking winscreen
Great content love the football idea that is thinking out side of the box ! Keep up the great content Thank You . Personally I would weld the complete panel so not lose structural integrity . 🇺🇲🇵🇷🦊👍
I think if it were mine I'd be making it fast as fork first.. except for the cowl area I would fix that. Then if I didnt wreck it doing mustang things I would make it look good with a budget paint job..
I can, and have, lived with ugly headlights because the output of stock lights was friggin' terrible. It's a tradeoff I am willing to make. Of course, that was waaaay before easily available HID/LED projector retrofits...
i love how ever since he did body work on the galaxie , that he doesn’t even question and dives straight into cutting and fixing the mustang 😂😂❤️ so motivating
Yea literally nothing scares me after that mess haha.
For real!! My welds are SO bad right now (as this week’s video will show 😬😂), so major props on the confidence, Craig. 👍🏻
It was either this or deboss garage. I obviously chose this because I’ve been here since the red galaxy and I like the way you do your videos. And the car content
Much appreciated!
I would like to see more of the f-100 I recently bought me a 73 F100 302 3 speed thank you for your channel watch you all the time
I love that you call those headlights “ugly” and that you’re good with OEM. I see our tastes align on many things. I have a ‘69 F100 Explorer and a ‘59 Fairlane. I used to have a Foxbody. I should never have sold it. I enjoy your videos immensely! Keep it up.

You did a fantastic job. You can pick it apart, but your work is better than some body shops near me do.
Now we're talking Mustang Fox - Body. This car is taking shape. Thanx for the videos Craig, always appreciate your work ethic and persistence to get things done.

Man, I love the look of a Fox hatch! I wish I would have kept mine, maybe someday, I’ll have another. The new stock headlights look way better!
Craig your talent is truly commendable. If I understand correctly you're studying to be an engineer, if so, you will be a very good one! I'm not blowing smoke here, I am a 73 year old retired mechanical engineer and I know a good one coming along when I see one! Kudos!!
Thanks for posting this…was exactly what I needed to help me fix my Foxbody with a little less work than anticipated.
Cheers!
Looks good man, was cool to stop by and chat about it and now see the full process, can’t wait to see it around
Really nice work Craig. You seem way more confident than when I started watching this channel a couple years ago.
4:00 I watched a video a while back where the guy repairing this type of damage would drill small holes on either side of the crack. Can’t go wrong with a new video from Craig
Wish I had someone like you helping me work on my 1990 LX foxbody.
Great to see you get after that cowl mess !
Great progress....and good job !!
I love how u brought this cat back to life
Highly required work finally under way!Good job kid.Waiting to see finished product…
Wow looking better already!
Looks like you did a really good job on that cowl, and I agree with you 100% on the headlights!
Nice love the football explosion. Great trick
Can't wait to see it painted, it's going to look great.

Looks so much better Craig! I did not like the front of this car from day one, so glad you went back stock.
th-cam.com/video/FRy1Fj7o3bM/w-d-xo.html
That's some fantastic work, as always!!
YOU ARE A BLESSING THIS JUST HAPPENED TO ME! thank you so much!
You finna paint it?! Yourself?! And then the galaxy! You can do it!
Dude you’re just showin out now! You’re turning into quite the fabricator!

Good luck on finals bro! I’m taking my Dynamics Thurs, already nailed MOM, and Diff Eq. ENGIMINEER
6:31 the New England Patriots called. They said the pressure seemed fine in the football. 💀
More videos like this one can’t wait to see it with some paint.
I like your videos. You're a lot more motivated than I was. I see the preview for your new hood with those Aerocatches? I hope you lay out the install on those? I thought I was a genius when I considered the implementation 4 years ago but alas not.
That was a good idea with the Football. My cowl is the same as this
good job on the cowl! I need to do mine also!
Slo mo shot is money 🤘
Best TH-camr right here!
Awesome job 👏🏼
That worked really good!!!
It looks very nice now, love the mustang videos
Good luck with your finals 👍
Looking good brother, enjoy the videos...

th-cam.com/video/FRy1Fj7o3bM/w-d-xo.html
Wow it looks a lot better. 👍
Yes looks much better with stock parts back on 👌
Awesome Video man This will help me a lot
man i had the hood on my 83 vert fly up on me twice (within 10 min of eachother, luckily my aftermarket hood saved my windshield) and ive been too scared to fix it, this is motivating me now
Awesome video man!!🤘🤘
I agree about OEM lights on the Fox Bodies, after market is mega cheesy
those after market headlights look way better with that thing ....
Good job dude🤘🏻you make me want to get out and work on my projects.
th-cam.com/video/FRy1Fj7o3bM/w-d-xo.html
I see from thumb nail but not in video you got aero latches I sent installed too. Looks sick and I'm positive alot better once front clip painted. Great work and I love my mustangs too.
Yes sir thank you! Came in super clutch with that one. Tossed them in yesterday morning off camera so I could drive it. I really appreciate you!
That car looks a thousand times better
She's gettin' purdier. Even without matching panels she still looks 100% better to me. BTW, I've seen a droopy nose when I was "following too closely" and the SUV in front and I both were braking. Slid right under that bumper! Doh. Droopy even after a patch fix.

I’ve been looking for a plate idea haha. I like this.
You should add a metal screen on the cowl so you don’t get leaves or bigger debris that can clog up your water drain.
Great job
Looking goid!!! Keep it going
Oddly enough Craig, I never thought to ask what you are studying to be... lawyer, doctor or computer technology as its a good release of energy working on old cars... As a broke high school student those “ugly” headlights wojkd loook kinda fire in mine
th-cam.com/video/FRy1Fj7o3bM/w-d-xo.html
Damn dude ... awesome job - you know your shit!
th-cam.com/video/FRy1Fj7o3bM/w-d-xo.html
Good work
Man my hood just flew up on me in my almost mint 83 5•0 sick to my stomach thanks for video that's what I will be doing tomorrow lol
i really hope you do the touchups on the back of the car and the roof i mean ya got the paint why not i know itll bother you too if ya dont this definitely looks better
Nice work 👌.
I have a foxbody too and I’m also trying to replace the cowl panel any tips where I can get a replacement online?
You've been going to college as long as I've been watching your videos which has been a while how much more do you have to do?? Are you going for a doctorate??
Was that a legit wave when the football blew out?🤔😳
th-cam.com/video/FRy1Fj7o3bM/w-d-xo.html
Craig rather then a football I would use a portapower hydraulic system to raise that cowl. You can get them at harbor freight.
Good job 🤌
What led headlights are you running? Would really like to know
Nice T-shirt!
U could have saved urself alot of hassel and pannel bond it at winshied and frt tack it edges and be done with it faster safer and just as strong and less chance of warp and cracking winscreen
You may have covered it B4, but do know or have any idea how the Cowl Panel got damaged like that?
What I hate about stock headlights are the orange side markers. Get clear corners
th-cam.com/video/FRy1Fj7o3bM/w-d-xo.html
Could use panel bond and welded very little
Great content love the football idea that is thinking out side of the box ! Keep up the great content Thank You . Personally I would weld the complete panel so not lose structural integrity . 🇺🇲🇵🇷🦊👍
Fuck!ng awesome! This thing is going to be the cats ass when it gets a new spray!!!!!
great job, save a stang
I think if it were mine I'd be making it fast as fork first.. except for the cowl area I would fix that. Then if I didnt wreck it doing mustang things I would make it look good with a budget paint job..
For what it's worth you may as well respray the other panels too , if you don't you gonna regret it , I know I would 😉
How much whp you putting down?
Even though the clutch slips it will look good while slipping. 😆😉
th-cam.com/video/FRy1Fj7o3bM/w-d-xo.html
Front tire wheel and tire size? please
So you are sticking with Black? Not changing the color?
I can, and have, lived with ugly headlights because the output of stock lights was friggin' terrible. It's a tradeoff I am willing to make.
Of course, that was waaaay before easily available HID/LED projector retrofits...
That made my day Iv wanted you to fix the cowl forever😂😂
What's going on with the Galaxies?
What wheels are those
Football takes one ball to play...
Drag racing takes two ;) lol
TRUE
Wow just because u don’t like football don’t mean your viewers don’t like football!! That’s like calling someone’s mom a b$$$h🤷♂️💯
Have you considered painting the whole car?
This will be great :)
Fuck yeah buddy, your videos are the best
