I lost interest in it when they started killing off the best longer-running characters such as Tom, Grantly etc. plus the storylines were becoming a bit more far-fetched.

This was where I began to warm up to Darren's character. Didn't used to like him, but you feel so bad seeing him break down over his mother's death!

Waterloo Road delt with real issues like bullying death abuse and emotions P.S Waterloo Road was better than Ackley Bridge.
The reason she didn't make much effort is because someone had to be there with the body when the ambulance arrives.

tbh i think they had done every storyline possible. It would have got a bit repetitive otherwise.
