Okay, two things: One, this felt like OG Waterloo Road, this series was amazing. Two, it needed ten episodes. As dark as this ending was, I think they needed a few more episodes to flesh Miles out for this pay off. I cannot wait for series 13.
This was so sad. Love Noel for getting out the guitar though. He’s may act like a bit of a doofus sometimes, but he’s really just a big cuddly teddy bear.
I actually cannot believe BBC made the call to kill off Danny after all the shit he went through. And honestly although he went to prison, what destroys my heart even more is that, because of Danny, Myles survived. In a way though, this shows Danny's heroism, his final act being to save the person who would end up becoming indirectly responsible for his death. This reminds me much of Bolton Smile when Rachel Mason managed to turn him around for the better. Whilst i could swear to god almighty in prison Myles would become very fast and good friends with one Earl Kelly
They didn’t the actor did. He has other commitments. He actually had a decision in how his story would play out so he had a say in how his character would end. He spoke about it all in tiktok because people kept directing hate to waterloo road when it was his decision.
Yeah right! No character is safe on here, I can't believe they killed off Danny, should've been psycho Myles instead! I was in love with Danny's hair lol
maybe, that's your opinion, but I feel it works and the lyrics of the song resonate with the events across the series and in this episode and it brings them together to sing this and that the events impacted them, there is a more raw quality to the singing through the pain in some ways.
Danny's story of being taken in by the teacher reminded me so much of maxine and steph , why did they have to do this to us again 😭
I know Maxine’s death was so sad and traumatizing all her best friends
I cried at this
Literally the same energy

You never know Waterloo road might end up being the longest running School Drama in the future and pass Grange Hill.
I think if they keep up this standard it may well be.

Your comment is cringe.
That's your opinion but to alot of us maybe we actually enjoy what this song ties in with what they just dealt with.
